Currently we can’t be getting rid of him if the rumours are true. Unless there are quality midfielders coming in.

I think we need to keep him with our current midfield woes

Even if we get a quality DM/6 in I'd not get rid of Kasey, those issues aren't linked.

I'd keep him as a sort of get out of jail option, he does unpredictable stuff that nobody in our squad is capable.

He is also useful against weak opposition as his quality on the ball can shine.

Lots of voices recently saying he needs getting rid of. Well hopefully his displays off the bench have shown his worth to the squad.
We do the same thing all the time. Any player that's not an automatic starter and people start saying get rid.

Then the same people moan we've got nobody to bring off the bench or to come in if there's a couple of injuries.

He can frustrate but I's always rather have him than not. He really is hugely talented and reads the game so well. When he gets those passes right he can split a defence better than any of our other players. I think his work off the ball is underestimated too, he tracks and tackles and sometimes looks possessed when he wants to win the ball back (especially against Bristol City).

He adds something different that we don't have, keep until his contract runs out. I'd rather be bringing him on with his unpredictability than anybody else we have.

Well thats two games now where he has come off the bench and created a goal and scored one. On this season so far KP deserves a start over Torp who yet again has made 0 impact in midfield and hides.

all those that went to Stoke and today can see that we just havnt got a good enough midfield to press and create chances with Torp and Eccles. Torp needs dropping for kp for the Norwich game

They don't play the same position though.

Palmer doesn’t press whatsoever.

He isn’t hugely talented or at 28 he wouldn’t be on the bench for a championship club with far younger players being picked ahead of him.

I think that, until Sheaf returns, we should play Rudoni in the holding role in place of Torp and start Palmer in the more forward/creative role.

Things were certainly better today when we tried that.
Have a feeling that’s what hat Robins wants. Sheaf & Rudoni at CM.

I think he offers a vision and a creativity that we don’t have elsewhere in the squad currently. If he’s happy to be a difference maker from the bench/occasional starter for the season then I’m happy. As others have said, having proper depth is important

That said, I’d be very surprised if he’s here come next season if we don’t go up

I like Kasey, he's got bags of technical ability....think he's suffering a little in terms of selection to start a game so far this season because he was a Viveash recommended signing initially....no doubting that he won us an undeserved point today (well yesterday as I post this).

I dunno what his non selection is down to but agree he’s got loads of skills…strong too. I’m a fan.

See, I reckon we were just about good for the point today, which is maybe why I feel quite positive about things. In my mind we got a deserved point away from home against a good side.
The ref was fucking shit though mind.

I hope he has put a few quid on his price, and tempted someone to take him off our hands.
I don’t understand the desperation to “get rid” of someone- you think he’s done worse than, say, Eccles, Torp etc this season?

lots of poison in some of these posts, talking like he’s a total liability, when the facts are that he’s done ok. Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of the game can see it- but no, SBT groupthink has decided that he’s a waster, so let’s all demand he’s sacked immediately. Zero perspective, all knee jerk hyperbole.

Clueless as always. How can you watch so many of our games and have zero knowledge as what is happening on the pitch?

So which parts of my quotation are factually inaccurate Danny?
