2024/25 League 1 Champs?

Sheaf should not have played that pass into Torp, he could see he had two men in close proximity. Allen had played a couple of tired passes before the equaliser. Before that Allen had a good game

Allen had a decent first half, but he was completely at fault for the first goal, left a massive gap by pushing on to the man and you could see the goal coming after that, poor decision and he was off the pace the whole of the second half, and particularly after the subs

Are you serious? He constantly gave the ball away, one which led to the equalizer? He loses his man. He was inefective and a liability which cost us. he needed a game, fine, but should have been substituted early to give Sheaf more minutes.

He was pretty good for about 70 minutes. Last 20 he made a couple of mistakes. I agree he should have been substituted.

Allen tired a bit but he didn't look out of place at all. If Torp and Mason-Clark gave the same energy level when they came on, we would have seen it out. Torp switched off for first goal and then lost the ball for the second, albeit a poor pass from Sheaf.
Allen broke up play really well, pressed well and passed accurately. It was only the closing stages where he made a couple of mistakes.
He deserves far more respect than he is given by some.

Sometimes football is so bloody predictable. Honestly called us losing 2-1 with 5 mins to go. It was a fine performance, but the league is what matters. A win on Saturday is much more important. Will join the negativity bandwagon if we don’t get the victory against Swansea.

Time for the first win against Swansea since 1981 then on the back of that performance. No excuses

Good to see how mobile we were with Bassette, BTA and Rudoni once they got fired up.
Wright has lots of potential but needs a step change in his fitness, he's very patchy.
Simms looks an old school awkward centre forward in comparison.
EMC has a long way to go.
Not sure Torp will make it sadly.
Sheaf needs very careful handling and not just with his injuries. He's way off being our saviour....

Torp switched off for the first goal?? it was completely Allen’s fault! what on earth are you on about??

Seriously what is peoples problem with Allen, both he and Eccles were excellent tonight.

Yep, I thought they looked nice and tight in midfield for most of the game.

Sheaf, who is undoubtedly a quality player, looked lacking in sharpness when he came on imho, which is hardly a surprise. That pass was awful, but he'll be back to his true form after a game or two.

Can't find too many negatives, apart from the result. There are a lot of good things to take out of that game.

Sheaf gave the ball away for the goal ‘but aside from that I’m not sure what you were watching.

Just look at the amount of mistakes the spurs back line were making before and after the subs. Simms and Torp are just too passive, they should have ran themself into the ground after the performance Bassette and Rudoni put in for 70 mins as I know who I would be starting on Saturday.

Spurs fan in the directors section sat by Daniel Levy just pushed over by a Cov fan and split his head open. Que the tweet from the club tomorrow about the behaviour of fans
whilst it’s no excuse what so ever, the idiot spurs fan was blowing kisses and giving 2 fingers to the Cov fans as they left. One of their party (Australian guy) asked the Cov fans what had happened on the way back into the lounge and went on to say this person (spurs fan who was pushed) will also be banned from sitting with the directors in the future. Bit of a shock to the system when they are not surrounded by tourists by the sounds of it

The subs were logical ones to make but maybe the wrong personnel came off. I could see Allen blowing before Eccles went off for example. However they’ll know the fitness levels and if people are carrying a knock etc so hard to criticise too much
Eccles had a shoulder problem and to be honest it’s more important he’s ready to start on Saturday than Allen
