Leeds were very good. Their pressing first half would've made Klopp proud.

They backed off a bit in the 2nd half but it's shame we haven't got any one that can play a killer ball...or beat a man....or shoot from range...we're good at playing sideways though.

Which is why its OK for Robins to moan that players were taking the easy option, but I think they just couldn't cope with what they were up against.
And Leeds are good, but they're not that good

Agree about the first 2 but I think EMC will come good.
Doesn't help him keep being played on the left which it looked as though Robins had stopped doing but he clearly wanted to send Wright a message today.
Sick of hearing "EMC will come good, give him time"
He's a forward and he's shown very little threat so far.
Waste of money and in my opinion an insult to Wright that EMC is serious competition for a place in the team.

Hes a left winger!

I just don’t think he’s very good.

Don't think your opinion on EMC negates the fact that Wright downed tools, which is clearly what Robins alluded to after Swansea and was evident to anyone watching.
Wright is clearly a better player, but we can't tolerate that shit.

Also, people were saying the same thing about Wright this time last year.

You should always play your best players Clint.

Especially when the chips are down.

Reading all the social media posts proves just shows how much the club means to us all….we can debate the players not being good enough, transfer failings, formations, tactics, backroom shake ups etc etc, but in my opinion Mark Robins deserves to be given enough time to turn things around. He’s been loyal to us since his return to the club, given us all some of the best memories in the history of this football club, surely that deserves something. At least 4 points required from the next two games. Keep the faith. PUSB

With respect how do you know that Adi couldn't have got more out of these players than his replacements? All I can see is a fractured disjointed effort game after game with little in the way of obvious tactics.
I don’t and neither do you.

I’ve been banging this drum for ages but it’s another example of a League 1 player that we’ve bought that’s so far failed to make a mark on the championship. I think Mason-Clark will come good eventually but when it comes to the transfer window we need to stop thinking these League 1 players are going to be game-changing for us.

First goal was pretty unstoppable, just a well worked goal
Second goal was poor defending, esp Thomas.
Third - countered, and literally no defence.

We seem to hold procession, and look for the one singular kill direct pass through the middle, lose the procession, and get countered.

I have endless questions about our lineup. BTA, EMC and wright seem to have the same position, neither seem to do anything with it.

If bassette keeps biting on simms heels, he’’ll lose his place very quickly.

I actually like Wilson, last few outings have been decent.

Bang on all you like about AV, he was the spine of any success we had, he was just part of the team, the team has changed, and I’m hoping its all part of a more positive wider plan,

Im normally very optimistic about cov, I tell everyone to calm down, early days, remind people of how good simms and wright were etc, but the facts don’t lie, the amount of wins weve had this calendar year is shocking, and idont know how they’re going to fix it.

Just had a browse of some match threads from this time last year.
It's groundhog day minus people tagging on the previous seasons results.

The QPR thread has people talking about playing Ayari centre mid!

Reading it has actually given me a bit of hope!

Explaining the decision to drop Dovin and bring Wilson back between the posts, the manager said: “Just to give the players more of a voice, to try to give them that voice and confidence. Ben knows the league and is confident, played in it for a number of years now and he played well in the games just recently, so that was the reason. But also just to give Oliver a little bit of a breather, mentally.”

Makes no sense whatsoever. Wasn’t Wilson also told he could leave last summer if a club came in for him?

The decision of someone who has reverted to trying anything and hope for the best. People can go on about Doug, coaching set ups, etc all they want. I honestly have no idea what Robins has been doing this season. None of it makes sense.

I think it makes sense. It was a big game in a hostile ground. Dovin is a young guy getting used to the league and Wilson is a big character with more experience.
He’s played international football for Sweden, I’m pretty sure he’d have coped and Wilson is hardly experienced considering his age.

Dovin is 10 years younger and has only played 43 club games less than Wilson.

I strangely feel optimistic today and think we will do them.

If we perform as bad as we can though we could easily come away with a 5-0 tanking. Key today is performance more than the result. If leeds just edge it and we put in a shift I can take that.

Couple more surrender performances next week and he’s gone I think. People expected little results wise yesterday, but they did want to see some fight and for Leeds to have to put some effort in for a result.

That’s a very low bar to meet and this group of players failed to by some distance. As for MR, he sounds like a man who needs help but having burned through so much money in the transfer market and been given everything else off the field, he probably won’t get any more.

Expecting King to sack him if both games are lost next week.
