From What I understand
-Robins and Adi didn't get on away from football. Mental really as on the field they were an unreal team
- Robins OK'd Adis exit to an extent. Basically understood Adi had to go, and said 'il stay' but was under the impression he would have an assistant same as before
- It's true the players, mainly last seasons influxes didn't agree with Adis 'old skool'methods. Some felt the training was quite basic, while being hard physically. Adi is a coach that can get average players (for the championship) to play a level above themselves. Think your Hyams, Fadz's, Kellys. Hes not very good at getting players with a higher ceiling, to said ceiling
- It's true he had a few run ins with players, as again they didn't appreciate his 'old skool' methods of telling them about themselves
- The 'restructure' was planned to an extent, upon Doug making clear how the off field revamp was gonna work,it was done quicker as Adi took it upon himself to make his feelings known about the way things were being done at the club as he knew due to the new players views on him that he could be on his way out
Now lastly, the actual 'incident' was apparently Adi telling Doug exactly what he thought of him, his ego, his off field ideas, his interfering with team matters and how it goes against the close knit set up that Robins and he had developed and brought so much success to us with.
People don't cross Doug like that and survive, as I mentioned previously with the O'Hare contract situation (Doug got wind Callum went mental for being hooked at Albion, removed the contract offer off the back of it basically saying I'm in charge you little shit get fucked)
I'm sure this is down to my 'agenda' though.
