This time last year, with Viveash in situ, we were in a very similar boat.
Let's give him time.
We were saying it was because of fatigue due to the cup run. No matter how brilliant a manager or coach, you are going to struggle with exhausted players - and I would imagine the manner of the Wembley defeat had some mental repercussions. There is no such excuse now.

He's talking about the start of the season.

I have already apologised for misreading the post. This time last year it was all the new players needed to gel.
Doesn't matter who is in charge , clubs have bad patches so we can't just sack every manager that does

Sorry, misread. Last season was all about gelling wasn’t it. Pretty much the same argument though.
Being loyal to the old school really I'd say, maybe that's the reason for jettisoning Lawrence Vivash, where's saddle here has he lost his internet connection?

From what I've heard it was

Didn’t Adi say in a interview early in the year that he had found love and was in a relationship with someone who worked at the club ? Thought that was a bit of an odd disclosure and did wonder if that had something to do with his leaving somehow.
Gossipy I know…

Except your conviently forgetting that Lawrence had gone for want of a better contract, and you have to a lead in to these appointments, they don't just happen do they?
A promotion, better pay and potentially being closer to home, correct? If so, was there anything the club could have done to keep him?

Managers and coaches are like players, there’s plenty of talent out there so there’s no point in fixating on old personnel.

If you say so, then pay the compo and bring an end to this rediculous dance!

Think it’s connected to a joke about Tynan ‘No’ Scope

I just think we need to give these things a bit more time. Robins seems to have picked this coaching unit and he will find a way to make this work.

It should be an eye-opener that there are many areas we need to strengthen to compete at the top of this division. Despite the early hype going into the season, Top 3 seemed too generous without a better midfield or defence. These areas are virtually unchanged.

This to be honest concerns me the most. Last two years 100% understood the slow start, first year we lost our pitch due the pests and as such struggled to get match fitness

Second year, we pretty much changed our squad outside of midfield where we lost Hamer and replaced him with Yasmin. Was always going to be a transactional year and think I and others gave the benefit of the doubt due to games like Bristol away where we were brilliant.

This year, yes you could say the coaching but when teams like Sunderland have brought in a coach from overseas with a young squad the argument doesn’t wash with me. Something is just wrong this year and my concern is the three times into the playoff goal only works in these five years with two transition seasons if we don’t go up.

If we’re no where near this year, we’ll sell a couple like Milan and Sheaf and then have to rebuild again.

Not Robins out but we haven’t always started a year badly take the L1 Champions year or the 21/22 start where we went top against Peterborough. Obviously we have time but there’s no reason with our high squad retention we should be struggling so much at just putting a couple of passes together and playing the same style as last year?

I was told it was Adi's response to being introduced to the new Performance Director - "no-one is going to tell me what to do".
Bye Adi.

If that’s true that’s fucking shocking. Only one person in that exchange has the right to throw their weight around.

Don’t think it is purely on the solicitor statement from Adi. If it was a disagreement don’t think solicitors would be involved.

Unfair dismissal? Sacked for saying something to/about her that’s lead to disciplinary action? He’s been there long enough for all the workers rights to apply and if he’s taking us to court rather than us taking him to court…

What’s the obsession with writing fan fiction about this woman?

As far as I’m aware almost no one on here has any insight into her role and how much she has been involved in decisions taken this season.

We’re literally discussing a claim that this has come from within the club and whether it fits with what’s known already.

Throwing my own conspiracy in, but bear with. Given that we don't have an assistant manager, I don't think it is beyond possibility that dismissal was shaped towards the role being 'dissolved'. It's a pretty interesting loop hole that I think Grendel mentioned previously, but I have seen it being used in an old job where one of the manager's had got lazy and wasn't performing.

They knew it was a really difficult task to get rid of her, as the team were doing well (regardless of her lack of stewardship). She had been there ten years and actually built the team up herself originally. In the end they said they were going to just operate the department with team leaders, and her 'manager role' was no longer needed. They paid her off for 11months salary, which was more than enough to stop her trying to fight it.

If it was gross misconduct, surely it would just be that? There doesn't even seem to be a case of 'suspended under investigation' and the lack of assistant manager is a pretty big thing. It isn't impossible that Viveash has done something shocking, but with some of the rumours around coaching style, and dissent towards new staff, it wouldn't completely surprise me if they have just used this loop hole to get rid of him for being unagreeable or a bit tough on players. @Saddlebrains - apologies if it wasn't you, but wasn't there something about Sheaf saying 'it's him or me'?

As Viveash in the public eye, reputation counts for a lot. Hence the solicitor involvement and lack of real word from the club.

Think this has only got worse without the club or Adi or really anything coming out by anyone in regards to Adi.

If what some of the in the knows have put on Adi (Saddle), then he absolutely deserved to go with how he was acting towards the players regardless of the work he completed of the pitch.

Likewise I’ve also heard the Gross misconduct relating to sexual harassment, seems off considering his Partner working at the club.

But I doubt Adi would have hired a Solicitor and not brought anything to the clubs doorstep (unless there is something happening with courts) if there wasn't a good reason for him to go.

After all if Robins didn’t kick off about sacking what he said was his most important signing last year and someone he held in high regard, he must of known something was up.

I've seen these,shenanigans before.
Not for one minute suggesting it's happened here but it does go on.

Given the minimal communications from the club on AV leaving his post, it points to there being the potential for an employment tribunal. Both sides will be very careful in any statements, so to ensure they do not prejudice any legal process.

I expect the clubs insurance policy will cover the legal costs. I expect the insurance company will assess the potential costs versus the percentage likelihood of a "win" in an ET. A case such as this could take a few days in an ET with barristers, which doesn't come cheap, so I expect this will drag on for a few more months.

Once bundles of evidence have been exchanged to both sides, then an assessment will be made by the insurers [in conjunction with the club] on whether to settle with compensation or go to an ET.

Needless to say, if they pursue an ET this will distract key staff from their jobs, as they'll be called to give evidence.

Fuck it, spill the beans, might stop the endless bickering.

From What I understand

-Robins and Adi didn't get on away from football. Mental really as on the field they were an unreal team
- Robins OK'd Adis exit to an extent. Basically understood Adi had to go, and said 'il stay' but was under the impression he would have an assistant same as before
- It's true the players, mainly last seasons influxes didn't agree with Adis 'old skool'methods. Some felt the training was quite basic, while being hard physically. Adi is a coach that can get average players (for the championship) to play a level above themselves. Think your Hyams, Fadz's, Kellys. Hes not very good at getting players with a higher ceiling, to said ceiling
- It's true he had a few run ins with players, as again they didn't appreciate his 'old skool' methods of telling them about themselves
- The 'restructure' was planned to an extent, upon Doug making clear how the off field revamp was gonna work,it was done quicker as Adi took it upon himself to make his feelings known about the way things were being done at the club as he knew due to the new players views on him that he could be on his way out

Now lastly, the actual 'incident' was apparently Adi telling Doug exactly what he thought of him, his ego, his off field ideas, his interfering with team matters and how it goes against the close knit set up that Robins and he had developed and brought so much success to us with.

People don't cross Doug like that and survive, as I mentioned previously with the O'Hare contract situation (Doug got wind Callum went mental for being hooked at Albion, removed the contract offer off the back of it basically saying I'm in charge you little shit get fucked)

I'm sure this is down to my 'agenda' though.

Old skool methods? Or as most people call it, putting some graft in.
