Something needs to change. Formation, player choices, atitute, expectation levels……. And some might say even the manager.

Either way, we look lost. God knows what the answer is. But hoping it’ll click isn't it.

EMC needs cosistant game time on the left to see if he's any good or not. If Wright is undropable because of the fee then I'm afraid EMC benchtime it is.

5 at the back to have some level of actual defensive support may need to happen also.

Well it was because there wasn't an atmosphere, it only really got going in 2021 when we went back

Not fully true, there were days in League 2 with 6000 there where people made more of an effort.

Away from home we were always incredible, not really the case anymore.

Yeah we need that guy to walk on the pitch again and wag his finger at the players…… seriously….

Not sure what that's got to do with the atmosphere being crap?
My message wasn't meant to be sarcastic…. I agree with you. It all felt a little bit bit like we were actually playing the game with the players back in league 2. Some good atmospheres even with the small crowds. And when that guy walked on the pitch to tell the players they were shit it was quality!!

Haha fair enough!

I’d agree with this, the midfield isn’t creative enough and play always slows through them, puts us under pressure and allows the other team to reset - we won’t make the best use of our wealth of attackers, and also play a horizontal pass and lose it and the pressure is back on the defence
We have players refusing to shoot also!

Wright wasn’t awful he just didn’t get in the game enough and when he doesn’t we struggle.

The system is a mess. I have no idea where Mason Clarke was supposed to be playing. The midfield was hopelessly out of shape for the second goal

It’s a shambles
He was wank played half arsed, pulled out of every 50/50 looked scared of getting hurt. There was one ball 2nd half landed between him and Thomas Asante but way closer to him he ignored it and let Asante chase it. So annoying because when he fancies it he’s brilliant but when he doesn’t he’s utter shit. Thing is you can tell after 5 mins which one has turned up and Robins should’ve hooked him after 30 mins . Keeping him on for the entire game sends the wrong message that it is acceptable.

EMC kept coming into the middle of the pitch so when MVE looked up there was no one in front of him to pass the ball to, when EMC went off and BTA went out right he stayed there and that's when we started to get decent crosses into the box. If EMC is a wide player why doesn't he stay out there
Because he plays on the left not right!!

Just got home, it’s a long ol’ journey back to Cardiff…
I’m sure it’s all been said already, but that’s not going to stop me…fuck me, we are clueless. Sheff Wed good for the win. They played better football than we did and clearly knew their plan. Even at 1-0 they were the better side.
They should/could’ve had more if it weren’t for some desperate last ditch defending. This is not good.
I have no idea what’s happened. I’m starting to worry that Robins hasn’t either.
I could go on. It’s the first time in a loooong time - probably Forest Green away - that I’ve been angry at the final whistle.
5 home games, losing 3…when we haven’t really played anyone yet…is piss poor.

Mad thing is that this wasn't our worst home performance this season!

I thought Thomas, Rudi and Asante were decent and the only ones who could walk out thinking ‘I did alright’ the rest were poor, it was an overall poor team performance.
Its not a managerial thing causing these issues, its the squad thats the issue

Swansea? I’d say it’s pretty close.

I was really fuming at the end. I know it’s hardly the point but an indicator of this was that I was also a bit annoyed buy some of our fans applauding the team at the end.
Applauding what exactly?!
Swansea was an abomination.

The second half against Norwich was a travesty.

This was a bit better I think? The end was rotten though.

It wasn’t a bit better, it was on par with Swansea, if anything worse as we got carved open so easily and so often for longer periods. This team can’t carry a good performance over even in the same week never mind from one to the next.

The fixtures following the break are hugely important in determining what type of season we’re in for as those in November are grim.
