Much better today, apart from the finishing.

The real score should have been 2-3 as Preston did have 3 or 4 big chances.

Dovin, Bassett and Dasilva excellent.

Our top players let us down today. Sheaf, MVE, Simms not at the races.

Unlucky to lose today, but I have a feeling our ‘Run’ will start on Tuesday night.

How on earth was Bassett excellent? He ran around a lot, shouted a lot and that was it?

Yeah I feel that too. He looks like he’s lost a best mate or two. Whether that’s Viveash or players he’s released I don’t know?
But as for professionals it’s none existent in leadership. Fads, Kelly, Gyok, Hamer list goes on. None replaced like for like for dressing room presence. Blackburn are rubbing their hands with Fadz. Why we didn’t keep him will never know. You need leadership playing or not playing?

To be fair he did link play quite well a few times and made some intelligent lay offs. But overall I agree - running about a lot is good but doesn’t generally win games at this level. Wright is the class forward - just a shame he’s away so much which makes selection difficult.

As for whose fault it is I’m sure we could go on about it for days, but it’s mad to think we’ve squandered one of the biggest gifts that 2 players will probably ever give us. We basically turned £2 mil into £35 mil and then with that we bought a load of players that either can’t play or can’t be arsed to play.

I personally think Robins has a game or two left until I’ll be in the “Robins out” camp.

Agree completely with this. For once it didn't look like we were being ripped wide open constantly though that low bar demonstrates how shocking we've been.

If this was game 1 of the season we'd come away and say there's enough
positives to take from the game.

Doesn't work though when we've been dogshit for months.
