I agree with the recruitment failure part. Clearly the players bought in haven’t been good enough so far and Doug and the recruitment team should be rightly scrutinised for that. Also for not securing other targets which we’ve missed out on.That's a recruitment failure in my book. And if its true, I seen it on here but never seen it verified, that no team has ever gone up without a loanee then its piss poor.
He’s taken the view the manager/head coach should be getting more out of them clearly but I’m not sure anyone is gonna turn BTA into prime Henry overnight in my opinion.
Whether we have a loan or not is neither here nor there. We had two last season neither which set the world alight and ones underperformance (ayari) you could argue played a part in why we didn’t finish as high as the season before. There was high expectations on him and is clearly a talented lad playing in the prem this season.
Just because every other club has signed a loan player doesn’t mean all those players have improved their team. We should sign loan players if they will improve us and they are better than permanent signings we are going for.
