I'm pleased that we haven't rushed into an appointment. If you're going to sack a manager of Robin's achievements then it's got to be so the club can progress. Appointing Lampard quickly because he's a "name" and available would have been the wrong move. Even if we end up with Lampard at least we have taken our time to consider all the options. If Doug and his advisors ultimately think Lampard is the right manager then I'll accept that and give him a chance to show what he can do.
