I agree. There a few things I think you can put it down too.
Poor performances from the players
A Disconnection with players as the ones who dragged us up from the depths have all moved on now.
People going into block 15 and the like to savour the atmosphere but adding nothing to it therefore diluting it.
More people going to be entertained rather than support.

I sat back in 14 a few games ago as a one off and there's clearly a different demographic that sit there. A lot of very young kids who probably aren't old enough to be in the safe standing.

Again, different to 2 years ago when it was the same faces. Some of which had sat/stood there since the late 00s

It’s not surprising There is a hardcore of fans and then the others are consumers. If the product is below expectations people run away.

It’s largely expectations vs results imo. People are still going expecting to see a top 6 team but we clearly haven’t been that. And the whole place just feels nervous about conceding.

Bassette and Thomas being prime examples. Both poor versions of better songs we sang until recently (and Bobby Thomas has a tiny turtle head that isn’t massive at all).

People weren't connected when there was 6,000 - 13,000 up there too.

Even in the darkest of days, there was always a handful who used to make an effort. There's pretty much zero now. Even the drummer has given up.
