Well he's too late then, we've already done that!
Most of these players had us 9th and in a cup semi , tell me what is so different?

Same players , this team is missing 2 or 3 key signings of quality who are leaders and that is all

I think there's a difference between blurting something out after we concede and genuinley wanting it though , several posters were pushing the narrative alot, one or 2 out of frustration probably said a couple things too but really only a very small minority wanted him gone per the polls
My mute comment is just about shmee being a crybaby with me personally.

Exactly. As soon as we equalised ccfckssparks posted we have to win from here or it's terrible or something similar. Set his stall out to have a go at lampard . It's so obvious to anyone with a brain what he was doing.

At half time we had lots of elite tactical comments. It's a lot of I told you so, you are right.
No it was as soon as we went down to 10 men.

is it really outrageous to say we should be beating a bottom 3 team with 10 men with an entire half to go?

that’s the issue though

the players aren’t performing to the standards we know

Mate , we were woeful first half and then equalised fast in the second and they went down to 10 fast too ..they are 22nd in the league and we had 45 minutes with injury time to score a goal to win it

It's a bad result

A normal fan would be willing the team on. Post like come on city we got a real chance here now etc

Your post was right I'm setting a criteria that I can bash him over the head with later now

King made a rod for Lampards back with those 'elite coach' comments.
He should have kept his mouth shut.

I don't agree with using them as a stick to beat Lampard with because he never said it but it was a stupid thing for King to say, (1of many).

It's not a situation where if we didn't manage to get the winner that it means the manager is poor though.

Bta scores a sitter and half these convos not happening tonight. Fine margins

Like I said the other day if posters are using kings words to have a go at lampard it shows they have an agenda

The issues are we have a lop sided squad. No depth or craft in midfield. Lots of centre backs non of whom are very good and some talented forwards that are stacked on the left or centre. We lack a natural leader and a playmaker.

Mate, let's not beat about the bush here that's been happening all season , and nobody was interested in fine margins before

Yes they were though! Lots of ppl stood up for robins and talked about slow start but we will clock soon etc. can't rewrite history to make out forum hated robins but now is nice to lampard.

No , people weren't interested in us outplaying teams and missing chances .. they didn't care 1 bit .

It was me and a couple others kept arguing the case , this is the story of our season and why all the stats have us in the top 6

“Stop making excuses for Robins” if memory serves. Funny how the infamous use of substitutes is no apparently longer an issue now as well.

I know I used to get a few laughing emojis for being patient at the start of this season. It wasn't just a few of us backing robins I'm sure of that.

you said he was playing collins instead of Dovin?

we signed a keeper because he knew we needed it

so makes your comment even more bizarre
Ah so I made a mistake, I have tried to blur out a lot of the rubbish from the start of this season.

Dennis Lawrence and Adi Vivesh were key to our success. I'm becoming more and more convinced that they were pivitol in getting consistent form from players like Sheaf, MvE and Simms, who have all lost form since last season.

We also had Kitching, Palmer and Wright playing, so we were stronger defensively, and had a creative player and an international striker.

Add 3 quality players to today's team, and it's a different outcome.

Frustratingly 2 of the 3 are still here, although I've no clue why kitching isn't getting a look in.

I'm glad we've established that robins wasn't key to our success.. again

Just because I mentioned those 2 doesn't mean I'm not giving respect to MR and his achievements.

But MR can't be everywhere, it's DL and AV who were on the training pitches day in, day out.

They were 66.66% of the holy trinity.

Point I’ve been making on different match threads and been accused of being anti Lampard, is; what is the difference?

Lack of subs, lack of adapting to games, same impassioned poor performances, lack of togetherness, at times lack of game plan - or at least it appears that way.

I want Lampard to do well, but appointing a new manager surely means we don’t see the same things we did with the one deemed not good enough?

Not his players and he’s likely inherited a poor atmosphere, but it’s his role to change the latter and get the most from the former.

Not anti Lampard, I don’t want him to fail but we’re not seeing the Elite Tactician DK was clear he wanted.

He clearly needs time, but games like today and Portsmouth are concerning.
