Point I’ve been making on different match threads and been accused of being anti Lampard, is; what is the difference?

Lack of subs, lack of adapting to games, same impassioned poor performances, lack of togetherness, at times lack of game plan - or at least it appears that way.

I want Lampard to do well, but appointing a new manager surely means we don’t see the same things we did with the one deemed not good enough?

Not his players and he’s likely inherited a poor atmosphere, but it’s his role to change the latter and get the most from the former.

Not anti Lampard, I don’t want him to fail but we’re not seeing the Elite Tactician DK was clear he wanted.

He clearly needs time, but games like today and Portsmouth are concerning.

He sits there looking and thinks I’ll make a change and sees Allen,Tavares and others and must think I may as well stay with what I have.

Actually so painfully sad what’s happened since Robins sacking to this forum and outer fanbase.

Problems exist and some will exist until we can get rid (soonest being now or the summer realistically).

Heard and said in the past that I had heard two bad apples in the group, won’t post but lines up with league one champs post on the Cardiff thread. Sure Gimoc knows more but heard nothing on Jack

We all want what’s best for CCFC but lately just seen consistent arguments on here even some as silly as on the old firm on the Cardiff vs Coventry thread.

Lampard rightly as Robins did take the negative with the positives. But I just wish it wasn’t a consistent told ya so. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t want Lamps (think everyone knows who I wanted ) but he’s the boss and we have to give him time. Only other option is too sack him which would be madness.

I'm glad we've established that robins wasn't key to our success.. again

Of course the logical conclusion to the argument is we've brought in coaches that aren't as good as Lawrence and Viveash or if they are we shouldn't be too far away from seeing a return to the form of last winter.

I think the reality is probably a bit more nuanced than that but if we're trying to simplify to it was good because of A, or it wasn't good because of B then that's where it takes you.

Either that or none of us realised that Callum O'Hare was the 2nd coming of Zinedine Zidane!

Being critical of Lampard = being anti Lampard? Fair enough.

I’ve been critical of MVE, Thomas, Bassette, Bidwell, Wright, BTA, EMC and others at points in games this season. Suppose I’m anti them too.

Might as well give us the ST I’ve had for 30 years and can the away games I’ve got planned for the rest of the season.

What difference did you expect? At this stage of the season you can only play the hand your dealt.

MR is a top manager at this level, and clearly he was struggling with this "deck"

Lampard isn't going to get any more from this bunch of players until he gets a "window" to put his mark on the team.

He has however stopped us from conceding 2 goals every game, so credit for that at least.

If he can add 2 quality players with drive and creativity, we will be a totally different proposition, but the reality is we are looking at next season now.

I know someone at the club whose been quiet but seen them over Christmas and told me bits
