But on the other hand 7k a week against nothing without a contract? I would be happy for him to join on 7k a week but not 15k a week. He would have to prove his fitness and ability to get that much.

There's no doubt he has been a very good Championship player but he's 33 and been released from an average MLS side . Would have taken him many times over in previous seasons but players can age very quickly so I wouldn't be rushing to sign him and pin a lot of hope on him turning our fortunes round

I think a lot might be focusing on the MLS thing. Just a few months ago people would have been creaming over getting him from Swansea where he had just got 7 goals and 6 assists.
He could well be miles past it but I'm hoping if he is then it will be spotted while he's training with us.
