Did Fadz get a song yesterday out of interest? I like were a club that ex employees come back to. Always found booing some ex players a bit embarrassing. Not O’Hare though. That’s funny.
Especially cos Hamer got cheered! 😄

My dad tells me when Peter Crouch went back to Fratton Park for the first time the Pompey faithful gave him a terrible time. He reckons Crouch looked absolutely gutted!
Sometimes football fans are really funny.

For what MR has achieved for this club, the memories he still deserves a statue. I’ve been up the city since 1971 and MR has given me the best 7 years of all times ( not 1987) so I will give MR the love and appreciation he deserves. Happy Days x

Agree, though I think the statues a bit OTT
We still haven't got one for Sillett

I will be giving Mark Robins a hearty cheer. He will be forever associated with Coventry City and rightly so, he was a significant part of the resurrection of our club and we will be in his debt as long as we exist. Anybody who thinks that is hyperbole you were not privy to the alternative script.

Spot on.

We owe him a lot and he deserves our thanks and respect for that.

Obviously I still want us to win.

Rather than a statue, what about renaming a stand (I know we’d need Frasers approval)

We’re in the process for Sillett TBF. More statues. One for Oggy too. In fact everyone top of these lists even O’Hare who apparently is our record assister (I assume because it’s a new stat?)

He did a great job for us but he's like an ex girlfriend now he's the same as any other opposition manager no special treatment we need the 3 points

For some fans who saw us go down to 4th division and the Robins revival it’s all they know.
Having watched City from the mid 70’s I’ve seen so many managers a player go I am long past getting attached .
the only manager I feel regret about was the sacking of Eric Black who I think we may have been promoted with if we had given him the time. .

Must be a very new stat! Would be very surprised if anyone had more 'assists' than Tommy Hutchison in the time I've been watching us.

According to that Rudoni is ahead of Ndlovu. I’m not buying it for one second.

This says it started in the 90s so I’m guessing a Premiership invention in this country and then not in the lower leagues until the last decade or so.

Yeah,. exactly this. Warm applause when he takes to the dugout, but then it's all about the 3 points, so just focus on ourselves from that point on and support the team.
Which dugout though?

Surely the least we can do is let him use the home dugout, for old time sakes?

It depends on how much MR wants to milk it - happy for him post game to clap singers corner etc , but ultimately a lot rides on the result - if we beat Stoke I would expect he gets a standing ovation- if they beat us then expect something else - it’s fickle - we should always be welcome to anyone who visits CBS - it’s in MR gift
