Not defensive at all
How you can get from what I’ve said that I don’t think Hamas are not just wrong but are inhuman in their actions is beyond me
You said ‘I can understand why they have been’ in regards to the October the 7th massacre. How is there any understanding on that?

Nobody is saying that it’s right how Israel have reacted, Netanyahu is a war criminal.

Do you think it’s right that Hamas is destroyed and the hostages should be returned? Are you against trump wanting Hamas to be destroyed then? If you are against Hamas being destroyed then that’s very odd

I'd be more than happy to see the back of Hamas, but not at the cost of the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Which is literally what Trump is advocating, and is thus aligning himself directly with the man you're calling a war criminal.

Do you not think it's a bit odd to advocate for Trump in this, given your position on Netanyahu?

You think treating people violently abusively giving them no hope of a future doesn’t have consequences?????

And yes I think understand is completely the right answer for their actions.

If you don’t seek to understand how can you change the future l?

I’ve just finished reading daughter of auschwitz and how the child in the story returns to her home in Poland and the poles make their life a misery after the war. I should have but didn’t realise that non nazis attacked Jews that survived the holocaust in the late 40’s and 50’s
And that the state of Israel was largely a response of that and not to piss off arabs
Did we fuck that up ? Yes and I mean humanity not Brits or allies etc

The lady in the book moved to the USA and then moved to Israel just in time for the 1967 war that Israel won against all the odds

I’ve also read about how the national socialists rose up as a direct consequence of how the winners treated the losers from the first world war

I’ve also read extensively about tito and the Bosnian war and Rwanda and how the various sides hold on to national humiliation for generations and then this is acted out in what seems to be violent and out the blue

How ostrich like does one have to be to not see the fuckin pattern

so yes i understand why Hamas did what they did the absolute fuckers and it was hideous and will have long lasting effects that will ultimately be more negative to them and their supporters

How do you respond when people treat you badly?

One civilian is too many, no innocent person should be killed.

Wanting a terrorist organisation destroyed that is responsible for a massacre and holding people hostage also isn’t wrong.
But it seems that Israel are basically treating every Palestinian as Hamas. There does not seem to be any distinction between the two. As far as Israel are concerned, and their actions seem to back this up, there is no such thing as an innocent Palestinian civilian. Everyone is a legitimate target.

We need Hamas gone, but the Israeli government gone too.
The idea of wiping Hamas off the face of the earth is all well and good but we've been here before and there's never any workable plan for what happens next.

The US / Israel will want control of whoever 'leads' Palestine next, if there even is a Palestine to lead. What history tells us is they will not align with the views of Palestinians so you will create the ideal conditions for someone even worse than Hamas.

After all that Palestinians have suffered its not hard to imagine there are many who will now be far more against the US / Israel than they were when they were able to go about their lives with a relative degree of normality.

Really strange how the Democrats suddenly realised Biden was senile and installed Harris without going through the usual primary process.

She then proved unable to interview on TV at any length without being given a set of softball preset questions. Despite this gentle treatment she still had a tendancy to launch into a rambling and largely meaningless word salad. I don't think the American public had any idea what she might do in power.

22 senators say exactly the same thing.. using the same video inserts

and lots of TV stations say "This is extremely dangerous to our democracy" :ROFLMAO:

Just coordinated.. there is a hell of a lot a lot of coordination going on there.:ROFLMAO:

Oh no an organisation that’s organised. The horrors.

I don't get how he can support Israel but not Ukraine I mean yeah I don't know my brain just fried when it comes to the situation.
It's crazy isn't it. We've got people praising Trump for 'ending' the war in Ukraine by refusing to supply weapons, intelligence etc to the invaded country. Hailing him as a genius who is against war and conflict.

At the same time you've got a large cross section of the same people praising Trump for wanting to go even further than Israel and wipe Palestine off the map to turn it into some grotesque Trump holiday resort.

He's also back on about Greenland and talking about 'any means necessary' to take control.

Hardly the words or actions of someone who hopes to see the world at peace.

I don’t see Hamas as struggling or suffering and there’s no understanding their actions

I suspect you will find the $100 million from Miriam Adelson during the last election campaign may have had a teeny bit of influence on his help for Israel.

Fair enough and you’re certainly entitled to your opinion
Probably been better to say Palestinians than Hamas
And irrespective of you or others understanding or not someone needs to try a different model of war

What bsb so you’re siding with the ira bloody hell

only joking
Dom admits that Netanyahu is a war criminal. So why is it good for Trump to bring him to Washington as a hero? Why ally yourself with such a man?

The answer is because the Adelsons have paid him hundreds of millions of dollars to get him elected and return the favour.

He wants to evict all the Palestinians and in his own words, ‘take’ Gaza. That is far beyond an operation to defeat Hamas.
Israel have been stealing land and terrorising Palestinians systematically since the 1948 partition & even before.

I fear Trump is building up to trying to occupy Greenland at some point in next 2 years. I hope Im wrong. Europe need to prepare for all scenarios.
USA is fast becoming an isolated rogue state.

If they invaded it nobody is really going to stop them, let’s be honest. If he starts bombing Mexico however…

Also, we have the actual official White House website using phrases like this:

The Fake News losers at CNN immediately tried to fact check it, but President Trump was right (as usual).

Absolutely nuts.

Not long before we get official reports of Dear Leaders perfect golf round at this rate.

The USA has a long history of buying or acquiring territory by treaty or simply annexing it. There was the massive Louisiana purchase from France, Alaska from the Russians, California was part ceded and part purchased from Mexico, Florida was ceded by Spain and Hawaii was annexed as was the Phillipines but the Phillipines were given independance in 1947.

It is a bona fide conspiracy theory that he wants to occupy Greenland by force. 🤭

When did the US last do that?

I just don’t see him lasting the four years. Hopefully, soon him and the other weirdo, Musk will be labelled a couple of traitors.

They’re already embarking on an alternative facts campaign after block back over people losing their jobs.
