Block 10 was opened and sold I think

Half of it was opened for sale, the other half was reserved for segregation, but I think things are about to change (see my post above) Crewe fans have just be told it’s all ticket only and they won’t be able to pay at the gate. Read into it what you want..

I have my tickets but would be tempted to buy in the Crewe end if I could not get one, would be great to experience seeing the stadium from the away bit. However, not sure I could keep my mouth shut. Lol

Well unless there is a major upturn in Crewe fans buying the best we can hope for is about 28k.

Crewe have advised their supporters that the game is all-ticket and that tickets need to be purchased before COP Tuesday 5th. If a sizable allocation is returned, then maybe blocks 6 and 7 might be opened to home supporters?

The problem with that is it doesnt give much time for our fans to buy them. It will mean trying to pay on the night, which I doubt many people are going to get up to the Ricoh on the off chance that they might get a ticket.

You're miss-reading it.

Here's their quote:

"Our away trip to Coventry City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Final is now all-ticket. Alex fans are reminded to purchase their tickets for Tuesday 5th February as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. "

Note it says 'for Tuesday 5th' not 'by Tuesday 5th'

The already have their allocation of 1500, so I suspect it's basically saying, that all we have.

Snozz - yes, you're right - being a bit lax. What this means for any discussion between the clubs ('are we ok to have some tickets back?'), CCFC and the police, regarding 6 & 7, who knows.

Exactly how I'm reading it Dubed, I'm more inclined to think they will open 9 to city fans

So just to be clear - we have sold all of block 10 as well as the rest of the home areas bar a few singles dotted around? And block's 6-9 are currently allocated to Crewe? Which is about 3,000 seats and they are expected to bring between 1-1.5K?

So you know all the facts do you then? do you work for the club?

I maybe wrong, I mabe right, but I'm not arragant enough to suggest I know all the facts.

The smiley at the end of his post suggests he was being tongue in cheek.

And by the way, you are wrong :p

I don't know this, but my guess is half of block 9 is now being sold at the ticket office only. If anyone is up there could they clarify?

No but I checked this morning and it was clear it was open I also said I think in my post however you just told me straight up I was wrong which in my view was a bit arrogant however happy to just drop it.

why are people arguing over this again? dont you all have a ticket already?

on the basis of having already sold 27,000 for a game that still is over a week away - i think we can assume the attendance is going to be somewhere between 30,000 - 32,000. is it really worth arguing over?
