Simple question.....

If CCFC were to relocate to an alternative venue outside of the City say Hinckley, Birmingham, Nene Park etc would you go to our new "home" ground?

I wont

Nah. I'm operating on the assumption that all this current shit will be somewhat resolved and come August we'll be kicking off another sparkling league one campaign at the Ricoh with a handful of new signings and David Bell in his pomp.

If not, I'm not renewing. Mainly for the David Bell part.

Not a chance; I won't be seen to endorse this humiliation any further. And for the first time since all this shit started, the four friends who I sit with, are all saying the same.

Although it sadly pains me so much to see my club in this mess, I would not go out of the city to watch a 'home' game, which the move is down purely to the spite and greed of the most inept owners the game has ever seen.

Personally I just dont get it, the losses they will make from moving will far outweigh what they ever would have had to pay in rent. Simplistic view I know but just shows what utter clowns or vindictive b'stards SISU are.

I would probably go for a look out of interest but couldn't see myself going every week.

As a supporter and ST holder of nearly 50 years, sadly I won't be there if we move out of the city.

Not a chance,, and this should prove to anyone that Sisu have no moral obligation to the fans or the city even though with the latest action taken are making out they care about Coventry taxpayers money.. Sour grapes and unfit people to run any business never mind a football club in my opinion, hope the Courts laugh them out and the FA seek to pressure the takeover and rid good fans of these owners who have driven us to the lowest we have ever been....

I can never see it happening and it wouldn't be for me.

As I said yesterday, our club is called Coventry City, not Rushden United, Banbury Bandits etc... play in Cov or its away games only for me.

I'd go if we relocated, if they want to move 50 Miles South then I would be truly over the moon (Not as much over the moon if we stayed at The Ricoh) let say for example Sixways Stadium, 12,068 Capacity within the 50 Mile Radius that the Football League require, groundshare with Worcester Warriors!

I think you are all wrong for lambasting Sisu after all didn't our mate Tim say something like "the future of the club is the most important thing"?

So therefore moving to a ground outside of the city of Coventry is the best thing for Coventry City!

Reducing the attendance from 10/11000 to a couple of thousand is the best thing for Coventry City!

Having no retail outlet appart from a stall in Tesco is the best thing for Coventry City!

Having a few more relegations is the best thing for Coventry City!

Bit by bit turning citizens of Coventry who are not football supporters against the club is the best thing for Coventry City!

Divding the fans of Coventry City is the best thing for Coventry City!

So will I watch my team play their home games outside of Coventry ? What do you think?

It's all according where it is and how long for. I travel anyway. If it was too far then no, I don't think so.

However, I'm hoping that it'll all be sorted come August and PH4 will be standing in the middle of the pitch being cheered by a full house.

With you on this Nick.

I would maybe go to an odd game, but no way would have a season ticket and no way would be going up every game.

Idiotic to play anywhere else other than the Ricoh Arena.

As it's CCFC it'd be a house full of squatters.

Anybody who would go to watch coventry play outside of the city should think why they started supporting the team in the first place. If the criteria to supporting a team is that they are within 30 miles of coventry then surely everybody would have chosen villa, west brom etc. who you could argue have been far more successful then coventry in both the short and long term. The reason we chose coventry was not because they were the most successful team within 30 miles, but it is where we come from, live we are supporting our local team and community. Anybody who travels outside of the city puts the future of a coventry football team in serious jeopardy.

Half of the Ricoh filled with the current supporters and the other half filled with Cowboys with a few Wolves fans in between..
