You have got it spot on gaz i don't blame you i might join you.
Especially when a prat thinks that if we starve sisu of cash flow that = the end of the club !!
The same muppet who spouted the only game in town continuesly well that myth got well and truly dispelled with three other non sisu bids !!!!!!!

So what will the club survive on without money? The hopes and dreams of the disgruntled few? Is your house made of fairy tales and pixie dust?

If a business has no money, it dies. It really is that simple. Money to a business is oxygen to a man.

Open your eyes and see whats around. It's not some utopia where CCFC will survive simply because its CCFC, its a cruel harsh world and when people make bad choices there are consequences. Not One Penny More is as bad a decision as anyone representing Sisu or ACL have ever made and the club will suffer tenfold for it.

You've only been a member 3 weeks ...I'll really miss you

Was just about to post the same thing.

He's only been on here since May. Not long enough to announce an 'I'm leaving' statement or for anyone to miss him or really give two shits that he's going to be honest.

I'm sure it's the same fella who stormed out of the fans forum. Just like before, he'll be back!!

This is my last post on here until SISU have gone because all this constant uncertainty and aggro is getting to me too much - I find myself waking up in a sweat and dashing to the computer in the vain hope that these crooks have gone. I have supported the City since 1962 and had hoped that Administration or a Buyout would have been resolved with SISU getting out by now. But all we do on forums is go round the same issues time and time again under different topics.

It seems we have 3 camps in the City:

1) Those that are grateful for what SISU have done and insist we ought to be grateful for them saddling us with £70m of debt (strange I know, but there are people out there who actually believe this claptrap)

2) those that detest SISU but want ACL to do a deal with them so we can play at the Ricoh. Their view is that by doing so the City will rapidly begin to turn a profit for SISU making them more willing to sell (highly unlikely, would take YEARS before the profits start to materialise)

3) the third camp, the one I subscribe to, wants ACL to refuse to deal with SISU and totally support the "not a penny more" campaign (we feel the ONLY way to get rid of SISU is to starve them out and force them to sell to cut their losses).

So you see, we keep regurgitating the same stuff - there will be supporters of all 3 camps replying - but I for one have had enough. So no more sleepless nights, no more banter and aggro, until SISU have gone I'll even go shopping with the missus rather than waste my time fretting over a club which to my mind died the day the Administrator and the FL gave it back to SISU. And I don't want to talk about it anymore either - so, so long fans forums too. :claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

Announcing you're no longer signing on to an internet forum's a bit needy. I'm off to the corner shop gang.

I'd imagine this is partly due to the ill-advised 'SISU morons that don't exist said this thing that doesn't make sense' thread about the Springsteen gig and the petulant replies to the mildest dissent. Still, anyone splitting people into camps should be encouraged to enjoy a nice online sabbatical.

I just hope sky blue john doesn't follow suit, I don't think anyone else can manage the exclamation point quota I assume he's paid to fulfill.

Some guy would have 'simply the best', is that who you're thinking of?

My thing is that I post wearing suspenders. Admittedly it doesn't come across well in text form, but trust me, it's a humdinger.

Things haven't changed much since you were 4 years old, still roll around the floor screaming and crying, "It's not FAIR mummy, it's just not FAIR".

You're right - supporting City is wonderful. Thanks genius.

Am I really being criticised by Lordsummerisle of all people for being negative?

Absolutely pathetic. Firstly I was not going to reply because you have gone...haven't you? But then I had to correct you.

The reason many of the same topics go round in different threads is because so many refuse to either understand first time they hear it or just don't get it, plain and simple. To that I would add many disagree and agree on those 3 views you have but the problem with you is, you are stuck with your own perspective and your cloth ears are clearly incapable of holding any view that just might be different when factually based. For example £70m in debt as you headline is rubbish. Those with more intelligence may have worked this out by now....some like you still refuse to.

'One thing that is very interesting as well as worrying is that the court was informed that the club is actually £60million in debt'
seems like Mr Appleton must be lacking in intelligence as well.

Your second point is that ACL should do a deal. Yes they should and IF they can. The football club will not make profit under the terms as before and will need the time to start fresh negotiations that will lead to a better solution for all. It's not as black and white as you state it.

Yes as SISU rejected the deal, as they never wanted a deal

Your third and final point I can't begin to understand. You like many on here must be deluded that there are people waiting to ride in and buy up 'nothing'. Help to kill off the football club now (under any owner) and you are killing all 125 years of history and there will be NO club.

We have a fighting chance now to move on, be it with some nasty taste in the mouth but a future is there to grasp. I for one do not want to be starting again in Division 99 and I think the majority believe it or not out of 325,000 people in the city would not wish it either.

I don't care for SISU one bit but I care for my football club clinging to life and continuing, not disappearing.

Fresh start with someone with a feasible plan for us to be in Coventry

I couldn't resist coming back for one more post.

Thank you all for your kind words and concern over my health. ....... You all seem unconcerned that I have supported the City for over 50 years but more concerned that I am leaving the forum after "only 3 weeks" - those observant amongst you will be aware that my VERY FIRST POST was to ask the question "IS THIS FORUM PRO-SISU, BECAUSE IF IT IS, I DO NOT WANT TO JOIN". You have finally answered me.

I hope you will all be very happy in Timmie's Sky Blue Heaven........NOT:mad::mad::mad:

I agree, but if we do fold it won't be anything to do with them. They'll blame the fans that did go. SBJ is as big a prick as SBK.

Didn't get the desired response on your retirement so have crawled back?

Every post you've made has been distinctly mediocre so you won't be missed. The one bright light I'd that the ACL troll sky blue John has promised to join you. We live in hope.

I can understand all different ideas on which way our fans should go. I won't have a go at any of them but I see things differently living a long way from Cov.

So we need to own our own ground. SISU are masters of splitting our club into different sections. So if they got their hands on the Ricoh would it be put into a different section to our club? Would it still mean we don't own our own ground? Would they then sell us whilst keeping the prized asset they have been after since day one of taking us over?

They have tried getting it on the cheap for a long time now. It looks as though they have run out of ideas on how to do this. Even not paying rent and then starting a court case as the mortgage was refinanced to make up for the money that should have been paid by them. Then refusing to pay what even the most SISU friendly supporters thought is a fair rent (notice no SISU botty boys comment).

We need this club to be brought back together as a whole again. Can this be done with owners that can't or won't even say which entity of the club has the golden share? So where are we playing our home games next season? Less than 6 weeks to go. When are the season tickets going on sale? Would it be worth buying one with all this crap going on not knowing if we will make it to the end of the season?

I have not been to the Ricoh for a game for what seems like a long time now. I wasn't doing it as being the first to start not a penny more. I'd had enough of paying all the money it costs me to go to a game to sit in what is like a morgue. Poor performances. Poor crowds. Crap weekend away other than whilst in pubs. I don't mind being considered to be a shite supporter. I have followed us as far south and as far north as we can go in this time though. Each game costs me about as much as a season ticket can be bought for. The difference is an away game has fans that go to games with a different mentality. It has helped me through the hard times we are having. I don't miss home games anymore. Once SISU are gone I will buy a season ticket. I can't make most games because of work/distance. Someone will find a use for the games I can't make though.

Just because you may think the views of others are wrong it don't mean you have to call them names or worse. We don't have a clue what is happening to our club. I am not saying we should starve our club of money, but I can understand the fans who are taking that stance. Go to our market stall/barrow and spend your money if you want. We are still on a downwards slope. There is no sign of the bottom. We need a cashflow to keep us going. SISU need a cashflow to keep us going. They have seen that whatever they do to us fans that most of us will keep going. Would a proper going in to admin be as bad as some think? One where SISU wouldn't want to keep us any more. As we have seen there are others that would rescue us. This was even when not knowing what they would have purchased. Even the FL and administrator had problems untangling the mess of our club. Even Fish head admitted the mess the club is in.

I am not fully in any of the 3 groups mentioned. I am not going to be pigeonholed. I can make sense of all 3. But without knowing what is around the corner nobody knows what is best for us. Shout as loud as you like. It won't make it the best 'group' to be in. All we can hope for is to hold on tight and hope our club comes through this.

PUSB.

Grendel & Torch you can hurl abuse as much as you like at me !!!!
The one thing that keeps me going on this site is the love for my club and knowing that you two only represent a minority of our fans !!!!!
