You are obsessed with knocking the trust..Please don't let the Trust get hold of this? It will all go tits up ,
They are embarrassing for the fans of Ccfc, I know they mean well, but they couldn't organise a piss up in the squirrel ,take today, there was 20 max at Northampton , one of their better achievements !You are obsessed with knocking the trust..

Yes was there straight after work Oh included 2or 3 Northampton fans kept it in the news thats the most important thing perhaps the FL will notice:thinking about:15 according to the Northampton newspapers
I'm a associate member of the former players,I'm sure some would be gameSome former city players\managers popping along would help. It would generate more media interest and more fans are likely to attend if theres a chance of meeting an old hero. The Telegraph might be able to contact a few and get some commitment. Theres a lot of angry ex Cov players and managers out there judging by the press reports.
Its just a thought and probably a bit tricky to organise but it would get a bigger crowd
So theres lots of angry ex players and managers out there but it seems not many angry fans:facepalm:Some former city players\managers popping along would help. I was angry but i'm not anymore
I'm Furious now
Why is it strange? Is it because they havent asked you why you didnt go or is it you want your thread near the top?:thinking about:Thread dropping down the page, and no trust comment. Strange

This is great idea, so what we need to do to get it off there ground...
If there is anything I've missed, then feel free to add. But these are what needs to be done to get this off the ground.
- Contact ACL. Ask them if they will open the doors for us to listen on the PA. If yes, they will need to hire security, cleaners etc for the event. We need a way to fund this, be it we all chip in some money or we ask the trust.
- Contact the Telegraph/Local Radio. Ask if they'd give us some free or discounted advertising space. Get them to run a story on the protest happening and try and get news of it to as many people as possible. Get onto social media and get this message spread far and wide.
- Contact the Former Players Association. See if we can get a few former players or managers to attend.
- Contact local stores. See if they want to donate food or services, in exchange for exposure. Greggs or Ricoh Tesco might like to get involved, if not, the local pubs or take aways.
- Contact the press. Get as much media coverage of the event as it happens, local news especially.
So... are you doing this? Talk is cheap.

I'm in. Everyone should bring some sausages/burgers wheyyyy!
In all seriousness i will email the Coventry Telegraph now to see what they can do for us.
If we get a consensus going that this is what should happen, then yeah, I'll get started on it. If anyone wants to help, then let me know.
Fair enough. I'll do my bit. Stay in touch.
Needs to get trust backing and become an official protest
Dear Sports editor/s
I'm sure you can appreciate the massive anger and distress of the Coventry City FC fans following the recent announcement of the groundshare at Northampton Town's Sixfields statium.
In response, and as a way to demonstrate our objection to this arrangement, a significant number of fans plan to stage a protest outside of the Ricoh Arena at the same time as the Sky Blues play their first "home" game of the season at Northampton Town's stadium.....
I wouldn't go simply because of the word protest, it will draw the cringe worthy chants and arms crossed anger when I would want to listen to the game!
There are a few great ideas though, maybe the trust will pick up on a few!
No I would be saying youre not getting any moneyMore that its an idea i think could work, has had a fairly positive reaction, and could be a great media spectacle aswell as bringing alot of fans together.
Ive already admitted the idea was mentioned before me i just hadnt seen the threads until someone pointed it out.
And ive already said the trust should be the people to do it.
Would i like to be involved? Yeah,
But if the trust run with it and it works i couldnt care less whether it was "my idea" or whether ive been involved, but i will be there on the day.
Think it would be a shame to see something like this die down and fizzle to nothing and then see alot of half arsed "protests" in northampton.
Doesnt make sense to me to travel to protest that you wont travel. Whether or not you watch the game is pointless, you've travelled all that way so sisu will just point out that that is the thing you said you didnt want to do
Let's get "the enemy" to play a set.
That'll boost the numbers !!!
And also grab the media spotlight (all sky blues fans)
Let's just call it... going to a 'home game'. Going to the Ricoh... taking in the game with our fellow SBA... at the place it should be happening! It could be really good. I'd rather be with my kin at the Ricoh than 35 miles away in someone else's heap of shit stadium.
