Love how those who hate the move to Northampton so much go to every bloody game.

It is not a protest. It is a meeting point for tramps who don't want to pay. If ricoh has an overlooking hill these guys would be there too.

This isn't an insult or a dig at anyone who goes to a game (I don't agree with that but its an individuals choice), but do you believe its morally wrong for Coventry City to be playing their games in Northampton?

Yes- with an empty stadium, perfectly fit for purpose, subject to a renegotiated rent agreement awaiting use. I personally find it morally abhorrent. But we all make choices for different reasons.

I will be there this week and feel that if he is asked to remove his banner it will make us no better then the Rapid response crews we have to put up with at various Football grounds.
We are not the police and if it has upset some people then tough, I am upset with my team playing in Northampton and nobody cares so why should he?

Not sure I noticed that one, if its there again next week I will request its removed.

Agreed the man deserves his freedom of speech. I appreciate the Trust are in an awkward position, but that banner actually represents a fair portion of our support's position

If it diverts from the main message, then it's counter-productive.

The same as going and holding a banner saying TRAMPS STAND ON THE HILL wouldn't be over-constructive.

As I said, depends if you want people coming up with banners saying True Sky Blues Support Sixfields. (and yep, I'd call them a dickhead if any do come and do that - the same as the person who said they hoped we stayed in Northampton was a dickhead)

I decided not to go into sixfields as I think it is wrong, therefore the only way to watch my team is on the hill.
I'd go inside every week to watch Coventry play if the reason was that the Ricoh was burnt down.

Fair enough, he does have a right to say his piece I suppose. It's got potential to create trouble if anyone takes exception to it though.

I just don't see how taking swipes at other fans will help either the current situation or the future state of the club. I'd much rather see fans protests directed at groups that have actually caused/ignored this farcical state of affairs.

Think that's out of order. We had a wide range of supporters on the hill, including children and ladies. It's a statement, a protest and on that occasion a picnic.
It' was a family event for these who believe that its wrong for the team they love is playing out of our City.
To me the miles, the cost, the travel time does not matter, its morally wrong.

Do not want to insult those who go in, but the fans on the hill are not as weak as some.
