I Like him as a player and more so as a ball player but unfortunately in this league (and a lesser extent in Championship) we will come up against these tactics because that is why teams like Bradford, Port Vale etc are in these leagues because they are shite and and when they come up against a good footballing team like us they usually end up trying to just lump it up the pitch. This is why big lumps for center halves in this league do well but more mobile players like Jordan would be better suited to marking smaller quicker players like you get in some of the more footballing sides in the Championship (or maybe later in his career in the Premiership). More often than not he will eventually get found out in games like these and someone made the point that it was only 2 mistakes, problem is if a striker or midfielder make a couple it doesn't really matter, if a defender makes one it usually costs us a goal. Despite encouragement from Pressley etc, the problem is it may start to affect his confidence because he will become more aware of it and forget about the good things he does. I think that in January if we do dabble in the transfer market, a center half is a must if we want to mount a serious challenge for promotion. otherwise silly mistakes cost points which will ultimately affect our position in the play offs.
