You Sixfields lot are a total disgrace. Spineless doesn't cover it. An opportunity to 'batter' Sisu over FOI and you totally missed it.
White hankies the lot of you.

Maybe that's not fair. 70 people isn't bad. Just not as well attended as the other forums obviously.

70 people isnt bad ?

Season ticket holders for the only club in one of the top 10 cities in the country, invited to have in imput into the clubs new stadium ?

I'd say 70 was horrendous and the blame for that falls solely at SISU's feet !

I would agree if 'sisu' were there, but they weren't.
As Shmmeee clearly reported the forum is independent.

Are you blind, how is it independent?

Sandra Garlick - not a season ticket holder, a consultant paid by SISU.
Phil Osborne - not a season ticket holder, an architectural consultant paid by SISU.
Eleanor Deeley - not a season ticket holder, a property consultant paid by SISU.

And a set of fans who are in the minority of the fanbase that go to Sixfields..

It is a biased forum of the compliant minority led by paid consultants.

Agree it was a missed opportunity but then many of them will be wanting this to happen as it may in part justify their stance on supporting the team and the regime who are destroying a once proud club...so why rock the boat? Most obviously couldn't care less where Arena Tinpot would be just as long as we're not at the Ricoh. Let's hope they do throw this circus open to fans representing the views of the overwhelming majority of fans. Sandra Garlick should be ashamed of herself and as far as I'm concerned she's no COVENTRY fan.

Point of order - Sandra Garlick isn't being paid and she's not a sponsor.

I'll leave it to the readers to decide how independent it is though.

Nobody representing the club was there tonight.

Nobody from SISU was there, so it might have been a little difficult!

But surely by definition she is representing the club as she was interviewed by fisher and CCFC announced her as chair on their website.
She didn't set this up herself and invite people in isolation from the club.

Well the last time Mr Fisher was at a forum he completely ignored the opinions & wishes of the fans.

According to her, and the club, she did.

The forum operates totally autonomous.
The persons may be paid by the club but they will also have signed NDA's. On top of that they are not making any decisions on buying any land - that is purely up to JS/TF.
So again - it would be pointless to question the persons at the meeting over the FOI Q&A.

I did earlier post:

What answer would you expect?
That question should be directed to Fisher or other persons within the club.

According to her, and the club, she did.

Then in my opinion her motivation seems to be chiefly to raise her own profile, since by her own admission in your article she doesn't have a season ticket.

This article says she was appointed http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-business-leader-head-fans-6391603 it doesn't say she took the initiative to set up the forum
A leading figure in Coventry and Warwickshire business has been appointed to head a fans’ group to help design a new stadium for the Sky Blues.

The club has announced the CCFC Stadium Forum, which will consult fans on new stadium design, will be headed by Sandra Garlick.

If I'd arranged a meeting about a new stadium, and then I found out during the day that the people I'm doing this for, working in my own time, for no personal gain, those very people had told lies about there being any land to build this stadium on, then frankly I would have done the decent thing, and called off the meeting until I'd seen some evidence that anything they had said was the truth.

De Marco Solicitors take advantage of new highlights sponsorship package

A Coventry company certainly got full value out of its sponsorship of the Sky Blues.

De Marco Solicitors agreed a deal to back the match and goal highlights on the Sky Blues website for the away game at Carlisle.

The employment law specialist, based on the Middlemarch Business Park, is run by lifelong City fan Sandra Garlick.

“The company has sponsored and supported the club in different areas over the years and I have been going to games since I was about 14,” she said.

“I cannot attend all the games since the move to Northampton, but I still want the team to thrive and thought this was the best way to help.

Maybe she did make that call?
