I thought you'dcare because it's the team you support. My mistake.

I will admit if there is a chance of it causing embarrassment to Sisu and football league im for loads of match postponements !!!!!!
What do i care anyway im never going to watch a match at sixfields !!!

@ torchomatic...........Do you actually live in this world? You Sixfield attendees have had 14 games to make some sort of protest. There again, why let a protest against SISU get in the way of your enjoyment of a football match albeit 35 miles away in Northampton Eh!

A wealthy benefactor (ie Haskell) invested heavily in, or bought, Coventry Sphinx and at the same time acquired all, or part, of the Ricoh ? A question, not a suggestion.

As long as there's a chance of CCFC coming back to the Ricoh, I wouldn't want any other club getting the *permanent* use of that facility. To be clear I couldn't give a monkeys about Lester or Villa reserves or U21s or indded anyone else using it on occasion, as long as it isn't on a basis that stops CCFC's return.

If CCFC were liquidated, or were permanently moved to another location out of the area, then I'd probably follow whatever phoenix club took root locally - or just stick with the rugby, as I have been doing...

(edit: just to go back to the OP) ;)

The irony of your first sentence just smacked me in the face.

@ RoboCCFC90......You poor man, I'd love a penny for every mile I've travelled watching Coventry, not just over the 29 years(Excluding the last 2 seasons) while living in South Wales, but the years before when living in Coventry. I'm 61 tomorrow, so that adds up to a lot of pennies doesn't it!

I think you've got the numbers the wrong way round.

Poor man? You misunderstand SBK I love every part of watching CCFC just like any other fan.

Sounds like it would be a lot in fairness however you have to travel from South Wales which despite it's scenery is still Wales ;)

Happy Birthday for tomorrow!

Shame Poor old Tim misunderstood!
No just another of those bullshitters you so like talking about.

And any way he said a wealthy benefactor like so we already have a thread on Haskel as this has gone of topic why are you taking part and not moving or closing it down.

I for one don't beleive you need to be that wealthy if you could get the same free deal that was offered to sisu you could give it a go and see how it works out.

If it is a bummer you have lost a minimal amount if it takes off could be on to a good un people are starting to miss football on a Saturday I believe you would get more then attend Sixfields at present.

And yes I would go

It's only bad when Tim Fisher talks rubbish in the paper, anybody else it's just the press making things up

Can the Sixfielders hold up the WHY placards at the next 'home' game? Seems a simple request if they really are as angry as the rest of us at this farcical situation.

I agree - it's a bit pathetic really

Yep got the scooter and everything. Don't mind a bit of banter but a few pages off topic just name calling is a bit beyond that.

Why -- what does deleting what everyone has read actually achieve?

Not everyone on the site uses it daily so when they do come on the likelihood is they wouldn't want to read 5pages of name calling before it gets back to the topic.
