Will you still support the club
Or
Will that be the final straw and enough is enough?

i will still support ccfc but unless there is some agreement soon my enthusiasm will dip and the number of games i go to will be a lot less.Fishers latest program notes make my blood boil .
As I've said before .... I'm out.
Can't be part of this silliness just because Sisu need to get there losses back.
I've seen nothing from Sisu to say that they will not leave the next 3/5 years of losses in the club.
Remember how they told us the club had no debt ?
I thought Xmas was the end for you?
Funnily enough you're still here though, and no doubt you'll be still here next Xmas, boring the arse off us with your tales of woe, and how you're finished with ccfc.

Fisher On New Stadium
Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has said he understands the supporters frustrations over the new stadium.
Writing in his programme notes for the Carlisle United game, Mr Fisher wrote: "Progress is being made on the new stadium, although, it is still too early to make any announcements regarding the site. We simply do not want PR noise to affect commercial decisions.
"We are taking very sound advice from internationally, renowned property consultants CBRE and it would not make sense to make public the sites we are looking at until deals are signed, sealed and delivered.
"Of course, we understand that supporters want to know where the stadium is going to be and how long it will take to build.
"i know for some - probably most - it won't be anything more than a "PR" exercise until they see evidence of location and timescales etc.
"That is completely understandable but we would not be spending that much time, effort and money and working with consultants, to bring this project forward just for the publicity especially when most people say they will only believe it when they see it anyway.
"But our intentions and plans are very real, and as i said last summer when I talked about ground-share, it's not a case of brinksmanship or filibustering, the club comes first and we have to protect its future. Many accused me of bluffing but clearly i wasn't. Sadly, reality tells you we were taking the necessary steps to protect the cub.

The question is regarding the programme notes above for arguments sake we say the New Stadium is never going to happen like most on here continue to state then why are Sisu employing these companies like CBRE, surely this takes time and money?*
*Please don't respond with it will just be dumped on to CCFC as Management Fee's anyway. It doesn't answer the question.

When the club returns gates will be at least prior levels if the club is in the same league - more than likely they will be much higher especially at the beginning.
Returns to the Ricoh or to the 'Coventry area'?

OK, let's imagine that City did build their own stadium, say just over the boundary and returned. Would people still stop following them as they say on here and form a phoenix team? Coventry has shown in the past it doesn't have enthusiasm for one team nevermind two. What would happen?
My opinion: Because it's the bare minimum they can do to convince the FL that it isn't a load of bullshit.
TF's already been caught lying in regard to disclosing the location 'in a matter of weeks', being in 'advanced discussions with councils', and the number of venues they are considering seems to change on a weekly basis.
The evidence we've seen so far suggests to me that the new stadium is a bluff, whatever Fisher says...
My opinion is that a phoenix team won't work in Coventry. There is a lot of apathy amount Coventry supporters, understandable with so many years without any sort of success. That's before you even consider the splits there would be between groups of fans and infighting.
If we return to the 'Coventry area' rather than Coventry there is no doubt we will lose fans as some will refuse to attend on principle, even if it's only 1cm over the boundary. Of course the further away it is the greater the number of people we will lose. It's not like we're going to be out of the city as there's no possibility of playing in the city and that makes a big difference. If we had no choice but to move elsewhere I would happily attend at Sixfields or a new stadium outside the city but we all know we do have somewhere to play in the city.
I'm not disagreeing about the Ricoh. We all want to return there, but if it doesn't happen and we return - even 500 yards over the boundary - and people refuse to attend then I really don't think a phoenix team would work. May as well transfer allegiance to the Sphinx.
