Oh stop being so defensive and getting your knickers in a twist.

ooooh...

Says torch, getting all defensive. Better to have your knickers in a twist than your knackers in a mangle, which is where you seem to be today. Anyway, back to the matter in hand...

Simon Gilbert‏@TheSimonGilbert3 minsA man called 'Majeed', a benefactor at one of the Coventry Unis, was apparently interested in buying the charity's shares. PKH says.

Courtroom frienndssssss.....

ps. Why don't PWKH and Fisher just have a fight? I reckon PWKH seems the type to wear a vest and be great at bareknuckle boxing

(This is a joke if lawyers are reading, I am in no way saying he wears vests)

I'm sure you support all regular Skybluestalk posters like PWKH, Michael Orton, AshbyJan :0)

Potentially 2 days of court time to discuss a case worth 29k, - no wonder some lawyers have a bob or two!

Pkh: critical of CCC and John mutton. CCC a large animal with conflicting views.
Council buyout of higgs's share "our get out of jail free card"
(From 'moving parts memo' docs aug 2012)

So in other words, they wanted out as quickly and easily as possible?

I don't actually know, since I saw Fisher with his beard, slicked back hair and leather jacket it would be a close call who to support. Looked like a bit of a lad.

Dr Majid Alsadi Ceo of Eastern Holding might be the person being mentioned. Just did a quick Google.

That's always been the case I think. Wasn't the originally plan for Higgs to hold the share in the shorterm while the club sorted out it's cashflow and then for the club to buy it straight back. My impression was always they were trying to help the club out and came unstuck. Don't think they ever planned to still be involved years later.

Did PWKH say it was their get out of jail card or was it the SISU QC that surmised it was ?

@TheSimonGilbert: Balloon gate has already come up...

Just SISU QC trying to undermine the credibility of the witness.

That is probably why Joy will not appear, her slap for being the 'least credible witness' in a previous case would be used against her.

Couldn't Higgs have summoned her then?

Sisu wanted to buy the debt, council did it instead to keep Ricoh as a council asset.
Sisu pissed off.
Start of legal stuff and nasty tactics and getting personal.

It's not trying to underline the credibility, I think it's an attempt to paint the picture that the witness was fundamentally opposed to SISU.

Now into bank approach deals.
Sep approaches to Yorkshire bank. CCC on one side keeping PKH and Paul Harris informed but secret from Sisu whilst Sisu make their own approach.
Higgs people no part of meetings but knew about them

Think that's always been the case, imho - hence the option for CCFC Ltd to buy back the AEHC share in ACL at an agreed formula.

The email referred to is some 5/6 months after SISU signed HoT (and stopped paying rent) I think. I'm guessing by this point that AEHC considered that the deal with SISU was off the cards - selling to the Council would make good sense to them by then.

CCC under no legal obligation I assume to tell sisu about negotiations over a mortgage for a council owned property?

Not sure there's any legal reason CCC would have to keep SISU informed of any contact they had with YB?

Have SISU stated that they kept CCC and Higgs fully informed of their approach to YB?

PKH agreed with QC that there were holes in the bilateral (CCC and Higgs) rather than trilateral approach to bank as didn't consider how it would affect CCFC

Can you explain for me why a private business can't just not deal with someone they don't like? The case has been made a lot by Labovitch, but can you be forced to do a deal you don't think is in your best interests in the name of equality?

I'm getting confused what exactly is a legal issue and what's just Sisu trying to throw doubt out there.

If all the JR is about is the council's decision making process when making the loan, why all this conspiracy stuff?

Did SISU have the right to approach the bank about the ACL loan situation?

Interesting point. I guess in business you can but aren't you into the area of hostile takeovers? If the money was suddenly owed to SISU rather than YB what would prevent SISU from altering the repayment terms or requesting the full balance be paid?
