When will we start seeing things a little less one sided and stop all this theorising about how these things work? How many of you commenting have ever experienced a court room, an appeal process, spoke at length to a judge and paid for opinions, had legal action against you in the business sense or even understand how companies operate?
Some on here throw comments around continuously with disregard to how these processes work.

Frankly both sides have an avenue for talks right now. That has been openly admitted by them. So then regardless of what ever else is currently taking it's course the natural thing to do is open talks and see what can be explored, achieved and possibly agreed.

That may in turn lead to the JR appeal process being dropped (and that has not been granted yet anyway, so nothing to drop is there?!)

The £590k everyone talks of is indeed subject to other processes as well ACL know. The guarantors that must be sorted and the fact it is lodged with the FL is upfront and correct.

I'm just failing understand why everyone considers ACL's spin is any different from SISU's ever is.

Well, isn't that now down to the FL now that the money is in the escrow account? This is not a "have a go" question, I genuinely don't know if only the FL can release the funds.

ACL have not said that they are not willing to talk. They have said that they want the money that should have been paid last week. They also want the futile litigation to stop. The vast majority of us agree that the futile litigation needs to stop. Bridges need to be built. But we have some on here that can't understand that continuing with the litigation doesn't cause yet more harm to the lack of trust.

You also say that SISU are willing to talk. You admit that they are bullshitters. So why do you seem to know that they are being truthful for once?

ACL have said they would talk, just that any money should be paid and the stupid, actually fucking stupid continued legal bollocks be dropped. Lets not forget that Sisu have also asked for caveats to talk but all we hear is about how ACL have been too demanding.

You talk about how the legal process like your Perry fucking Mason. Fact is, yes FACT, Sisu have been dropped like a sack of shit in court twice with no decision going their way about the JR. That is two different judges both saying the same thing. Yes, Sisu can appeal as is their right but even if it goes to three judges then going on what we have seen how can another three see it so differently to two of their peers? The reason Joe Bloggs wouldn't carry on like this is because we don't have a seemingly endless pot of cash like Sisu. You want to see talking then Sisu say we are dropping the appeal, we have placed cash in an account and say to the FL do as you will and you might then see ACL saying good enough for us, lets talk. In ACL's position, would you want to talk and trust Sisu after what they had done and were still doing? I know I wouldn't.

Sisu haven't just asked for caveats, their position is totally unchanged from the last 18 months!

I mean seriously, ACL have already lost out on the rent, lost a long term tenant, reduced their rent demands from £1.3m to free. Offered open books on F&B. Offered to talk about selling the F&B rights. Others have twice now offered to pay for the rent up to the point where it's a guaranteed money maker to be at the Ricoh.

How have Sisu budged at all in that time? What demands have they dropped? If anything, they've got more intransigent as time has gone on, now expecting to be let off some of the money by the FL, refusing to drop a legal action that at every point has been proven to be fruitless, insisting on matchday revenues even for a short term deal. Not forgetting the fact that they chose to deny fans of the right to watch their team as nothing more than a negotiating tactic.

And yet. And yet. Still there are people saying they aren't the unreasonable ones. Still claiming anyone who calls them on this obvious bullshit is "misguided" or "doesn't know what they're talking about".

I have been in a court room - business - and through an appeal. First appearance, judge tries to get agreement, establish facts and explains law. Second, claimant tries it on. Looses - again - damning judgement. Third appeals and bends facts to counter judgement. Looses. Case passed to public prosecutor "Prozessbetrug" - using the courts for his own gain and perjuring himself. Never heard of him again.

Let's hope SISU don't resort to bending the facts to counter the judgement.

I would say that, on balance ACL's Spin has been proved more reliable than SISU's.

We desperately hope we are wrong, but the last few days have all the hallmarks of a typical sisu spin campaign - raising hopes of progress while their strategy and tactics sadly don't change at all.
