Deserved for what? Pointing out that his conclusion is without fact? Look back in this thread. It's Grendel dishing out the insults and high-handedness. Yet when he's challenged, it's the same faces chipping in, 'liking' and accusing people of the very behaviour Grendel starts. Do you all have lunch together?

Deserved for this kind of divisive shit:
''What I do note, though, is many of the people who are counting this story as a nothing story, are those who normally take a more than sympathetic line to the current club's owner's politic. For obvious reasons''

You must realise by now MMM that the SISU Loyalists are a tightly knit handful who will defend each other and the owners regardless of all others including the football club and fellow fans.

So one of the rules of being a sisu loyalist is to stand by an article in the local rag when it clearly has no foundation at all.

What rot.

I'm divisive? You absolute joker. That comment comes after this lot from Grendel on this thread alone......

I think if we want some comedy moments we should dredge out your threads hero worshiping the fat lazy loser that fooled you into believing he was a football manager

Or

What does that say about you? You certainly seem to want them hanging around for a long time. I guess it's just an act - are you related to fisher by any chance?

Or

I fail to see those remarks as being personal. He was fat. He was definitely lazy. He was certainly a loser

Or

Remember last time round some idiots wanted bobby Gould, the only clown who ran thorn close, back in charge

You're right, they're all respectful and designed to bring about fan unity :sarcasm:

I would think every fan does agree thorn was a loser and every fan (bar the lunatic fringe) would agree on my assessment of Goulds managerial capability.

Saying Andy thorn was shit isn't divisive - it just embarrasses the tiny handful that stood with him to the grim end - like you and Don.

What you said was divisive as it suggests some wierd agenda. The truth is the "agenda" is from people who want to make up rubbish to create instability in the club.

Being divisive is to constantly and regularly misrepresent people to marginalise them in the way you have again above. Again, my view on Thorn was pretty much as articulated here two years ago:

Stood with him? I think not

So you like me identified thorn as a dud in September 2011 and demanded his sacking then? Odd I seem to recall you staunchly defending him - I will have a look what you said at the time.

Okay. I'll wait. I can guarantee you'll find nothing as retrospectively embarrassing as the ones you posted abut the 'great job' Fisher was doing....

Well if Pressley did go to another club he'd be only the second manager to be headhunter in 60 years so on that basis he'd certainly be a successful in that aspect of recruitment.

Frankly this is irrelevant though. You accused me of being divisive and Samo "a joker" for declaring thorn was crap. He was crap - that's not divisive. Your tone and manner, however, was.

Like that tweet.this morning? How did that turn out.

No. Nothing like it. That was acknowledged as confusion, wasn't it?

As opposed to the story running at the same time as Sky Bet had our manager down as joint favourite for a job. That's not confusion, is it? That's reporting events.

Grendel claims that he's only favourite due to the Telegraph's reporting, which he can't substantiate, but when you follow his twisted logic - that local reporting influences betting odds - can't answer why the steadfast refusal he heard on CWR this morning hasn't ruled Pressley out. If one Telegraph article can be the only factor in his ascension, why can't a correspondingly damning ruling-out of his chances have the reverse influence?

Apart from that, your comparison holds water totally. Thanks for the input

I agree with spider_ricoh. Thorn was building a good side, his signings were not shite like Pressley's and he was treated appallingly.

Kilbane, Reece brown, Barton, Cody, Elliot, Malaga, Hussey, Dunn, callum ball, He signed some dross.

You are aware that this twisted morality comes after - in the same thread - you've called other fans 'some idiots'? :claping hands:

Very little money is going on this sort of bet. The CET article will have influenced people to bet on it. They will not have listened to cwr as they more than likely live in Yorkshire and even if they did can't get their money back.

The fact you've mustered this arbitrary distinction so that your flawed logic still makes sense to you is worrying.....

For some reason i actually trust Pressley when he talks of being here for the long term project. Mind you i trusted Robins when he said the club was in his blood.

Always knew that :jerkit: would get his eventually, :censored: Judas

Tbf the market is so open and pressley at 2-1 or 3-1 doesn't exactly say it's a sure thing does it.

Huddersfield don't know yet and looking at the other candidates there is better and they are free agents as it were .

It means something, I think. Those odds represent people putting money down, so presumably there's more money going on SP than anyone else.

I'm guessing it's not a particularly big market, the next Huddersfield manager, so someone lumping a load on Pressley could probably skew the odds quite a lot - but most people do at least some kind of rudimentary analysis before risking their cash.

Anyway, I still don't think SP will go, fwiw, but I'd rather not see him as the current favourite.

Incidentally, if you fancy a punt on SP going, you'll get better odds with Coral...

Most likely pessimistic City fans putting a bet on has pushed his to favourite. And the favourite at this point almost never gets the job at this level.
