Exactly, their quietness seems a bit strange which I think could be:

1. They have something up their sleeve and have a masterplan - not so likely
2. They are conceding defeat - maybe
3. They are going to try and play the victim to get fans - maybe
4. They are involved in the deal somehow - not so sure about that one


5. They have decided long ago enough is enough they won't ever deal with CCC and really go ahead building a new stadium?

All dependent on getting a massive discount from YB though. If it was such a good offer and would have gone through why didn't the complete the offer?

Because CCC decided to buy the loan themselves. That was the game-changer.

Land potentially to SISU's advantage:
1 more ability for council to reduce rent
2 council have more control if SISU wanted to buy in to ACL

SISU seemed to get miffed because they wouldn't control the mortgage. A lost revenue stream for them (not for CCFC I may add).

No, they would discharge the mortgage.
The effect would be increased value of ACL (of which they would own 50%) and lower operating cost of ACL (of which they would own 50%).
It makes perfect financial sense - if they could have bought the loan at a discount.
