Thats only because you like us,admit it;)
As I have said in all of the threads you can't help but see the likes of you, bshb and Michael as consistent when others aren't quite the same. In my eyes the whole wasps things has changed a few things (my eyes only, just opinion) if that makes sense?

I don't care about being called a scabby twat if people are consistent about it..

Still think you need to change your fishing tactics though ;) shit bait!

The big question LAST is who out there is genuinely interested in taking the club on? SISU can only go if there is a willing buyer after all and the club in its current state is one mighty unattractive proposition.

Who knows?

But I have been to many games over the years where the fans have protested against their owners.( they have never cared who was waiting out there ether)

There is always some one out there waiting, not saying they will be better but would take a lot to be worse.

Problem is stick with Sisu and this club will Die unless they do a complete turnaround.

The only problem is sisu want to sell but only for big Bucks, thing is they really have very little to sell due to their own incompetence when it came to business decisions involving our club.

But this new protest group are saying that there are consortiums waiting to take over, 2 maybe 3?

This is what makes people think its bollocks and just winding fans up ;)

People go on about sisu.bullshitting the fans and not being transparent but then do it themselves???

SISU have said before they are not for sale have they not? They will want to right the ship before selling. I don't think they will be going anywhere just now unless there were a crazy offer from crazy people that gave SISU at least their original investment back?
At this moment in time we can't be worth more than the sum of the parts we are: i.e. players, a training ground, a decent working academy and a very cheap rental pitch deal in league 1. Oh and potentially big fan base if relative success is reached (this is a major city and not Yeovil after all. I think we can just about call that goodwill) So not a lot of value at the minute is there?

We need success first, a stadium to call our own (even if that was still the Ricoh in some new arrangement) access to income streams all year from said stadium, balanced books and maybe a promotion and better sponsorship deals thrown in. I believe that's SISU's aim. Any new owner right now would have the same plan unless they had millions upon millions to throw at it immediately, which we all know will not happen for the reason in the first paragraph.

If there are phantom investors out there making murmurs then I highly suspect them to be much the same as the previous set (Hoffman, Dhinsa, and co) and unwilling to make any real inward investment but looking for ways of obtaining a stricken club for little or nothing and try and invest what they have on a wing and a prayer mentality believing they can turn the club around immediately on such a good plan.

Show me any investor out there who seriously has the balls and deep pockets to turn this club around by offering SISU a way out now and invest heavily to achieve quicker results than SISU are now setting out their stall to do and I'll happily eat my hat.

What's the protest's aim? Another opportunity for the organisers to pat themselves on the back for another great but ultimately fruitless protest?

When they go on about consortium's waiting to take over?

Surely the fact it's nameless isn't very transparent, which people dislike sisu for...

The talk about wasps taking over when t bloke denied it straight off, yet one of their issues is sisu lying to fans...

I don't expect anybody to notice the obviousness as they have said things about sisu.

This is why protests never work. We are all meant to be supporters we are meant to be together and getting behind the team as a group. But just from this protest it has already split fans into sections I see some of you berating Nick and others for their opinions if he doesn't want to protest or doesn't agree with the idea then that's is fine it is your own personal choice wether or not to protest it doesn't make them any less of a fan or a "sisu lover". No wonder atmosphere at home is terrible because in reality we have 5 or 6 different groups of fans.

How many protest have we had now ? How many very well organised protests which have been seen nationally ? Lots and they were all very good. I agree that this one doesn't seem as organised but come kick off ot may well be and fair play if it is. But how many of those well organised well publicised protests have been ignored ? All of them. Compare that to the amount of times we've truely got behind the team at home I mean really shown what passionate fans we are and how we can be a12th man for the team ? Maybe once or twice. And yes the Situation means it's hard to get passionate and behind the team but as Ive said before if we put just half tbe organisation and passion that people have making protests and put that effort into supporting the team we could really see a change in fortunes on the pitch.

I agree, although if people want to protest it is up to them I think that some of the anger and passion should be converted to get behind the team (not the owners). This stuff about people doing NOPM are making an exception (another one), why shouldn't the exception be just getting behind the team as much as possible? Get behind the team and push for a win.

some people keep banging on about who we are , who are sisu ? We only found out who joy was and what she looked like over this last 12 months , there was 6 years before that and we never had a clue who anyone was in sisu

Dee we don't want to give out false hope but it's vital that we remain anonymous

I like that, what that is basically saying is:

"We are going to protest about SISU doing things by doing exactly the same, rather than setting the standard of how things should be done properly"

It is even worse that people are so blinded with the hatred they can't see the irony in that.

"Yeah, I am going to protest about these people wearing fur coats but they wear fur coats so why shouldn't i too? It's cold"

Why is it vital people remain anonymous?

A protest is always a good way of showing displeasure , but generally the only protests that actually have a follow on impact are the ones against managers , i just cannot see how after everything that has happened SISU will suddenly just stand up and say , oh wait they dont like us lets go or lets change our ways .....its far too late for that .
we are basically left in a situation of hope , hope that something better comes along , and even after this or any future protests , it will still remain the same.
its not about when we have had enough , its about when sisu decide enough is enough and go

you want to back a group of fans that want sisu out then back us but if you want to watch ccfc go into liquidation then don't, we believe sisu are already planning there exit hence why they are dragging these new ground plans out stringing fans along

they will probably liquidate us and walk away with not a care in the world and some money in there back pocket, do you think sisu come in and actually spent 30-60 mill on debt no chance and some debt will be there's

It really is trying to brainwash people to get them onside. Stirring up bullshit to get people in the mood. There is no fact or evidence backing any of the statements being thrown out there.

It reminds me of the crap like "all romanians are rapists, lets go kill them" or something like as braindead as that.

If you don't back us then CCFC will be liquidated, that is outrageous.

But what's the goal ? Serious question, It's clear we aren't listened to but where we are listened to is on the pitch.

The goal would be to get rid of SISU from the club, after 7 years of bullshit, it's finally taken it's toll on the fans it seems.

If I go to a protest, I am also behind the team too, but players come and go, do you think they're bothered about the woes of a CCFC fan?

Ah latest news, after a bit of digging.

There is no proof about these consortiums they keep going on about being there, they just think there is but have been throwing it around like it is fact.

Yet SISU are bastards for lying and misleading city fans...

I think you had better read the thread from the start. Seems to me people are not berating Nick and the others but responding still I suppose if you support the protest and are called a Wasps lover you should just take it. People want evidence of what the motives of the protest are who these so called investors are etc etc,why don't the people against the protest ask the same questions of Sisu?ie what are their motives for keeping us going because it's going to cost them more money and just who are the investors and what are their motives?

So why in the press release is there no mention of supporting the team? Not a single sentence.

You're going to have to help me out Nick. I've just read the statement on page one again and unless I need a trip to the opticians there is no mention of a consortium or anyone else for that matter waiting in the wings. I didn't see any mention of Wasps either but I'm not surprised you've mentioned them again. You're favourite subject after all.

Said by them:

Hey tom we know for a fact there is people willing to take CCFC on if sisu decided to leave
no one will try and buy us for millions no but if sisu were realistic and wanted rid of the club then we know of possibly 3 and definitely 2 consortiums that would try and take over the club !

But no, they are shouting SISU out loudly so it must be me bullshitting and making things up eh?

All this shows is that people aren't interested in the facts, they just want to shout SISU out.

Because people shouldn't really need reminding about supporting the team should they?

Tell that to the 17000 people that went AWOL after Gillingham...

It beggars belief that a protest group don't have the intelligence to put a single sentence in their press release about supporting the football club during the game in which they wish to protest. Does that sit OK with you?

Well, only their word is needed as it seems to keep changing. One minute it is fact, the next minute it is just what they have heard, moves to what they think and its their opinion there are people.

Still, let's not let get in the way of a good witch hunt by asking for facts?

@Lesreidpolitics: Will those behind latest #CCFC fans protest & takeover rumour reveal who they are? Same people who didn't oppose Ricoh sale?

Only asked because I haven't read much into it. I just want SISU gone, nothing more, nothing less.

The fact is SISU have screwed us enough, what more can be said?

AWOL fans are due to SISU, nothing more, nothing less.

Supporting the team is standard, I don't think we need reminding of it in a press release. But that's my opinion alone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sisu were the owners for the Gillingham game, right?

Who said they all went AWOL anyway? I was at the Gillingham game and 6 homegame since. Am I classed as AWOL or am I probably just like the majority of the 17,000 and cant commit to a season ticket so pick and choose when I go?

I would suggest that the biggest AWOL section is the ones who havent come back in any capacity since the return to the Ricoh. Still that's probably the fans fault hey Ian.

If you think 27,000 that day were city fans, then it's foolish. It was about the novelty factor of city being home that drew the crowd in, and then SISU just continued to show ineptness towards us yet again, soon as we moved back they announce new court date, people like me have had enough. The club needs saving in my opinion not the team.

I can't speak for everyone but that's how I see it.

I think I have got to the bottom of this:

Like I have said, get these consortiums that are fact in the open, let the fans get behind them
We dont need faceless any more, we need a geniunely good owner, get them to tell us how they..
ill make CCFC better and put a stop to this, I can guarantee many more people will back that!

The reply....

that is not important at this stage, voicing/showing our displeasure at SISU is

So it is pretty much just a get together to back pat and sing SISU out songs rather than ACTUALLY do much.

While I often disagreed with Michael, at least he always had an end game with things.
