Where am I quiet? The CET said he was the highest paid player and in the accounts of 2007 said the highest paid was on £15,000 a week - have you even bothered to read his original post or are you unable to see above the xxxxxxxxl shirts that were the only ones stolen?

Is that the CET that you say is full of shit unless they say something you like? And yes you still have not shown any proof of smaller tops. Just the big ones.

We agreed to pay £5k a week for a player who wasn't even playing for us? No wonder the money didn't take long to run out.

standard practice that the loaning club only pays a % of a players wages. We only paid £2k of DMC's £10k per week wages when he came here on loan.

we also pay players when we agree to cancel their contracts regular payments/wages, they don't get a one off lump sum payment when they leave. I wonder how much we were paying Baker whilst he was putting in Player of the Season performances at Mk Dons....:thinking about:

And why we are bringing in loan players now and the last few seasons.

Actually the CET were saying there were smaller tops. Clearly you think they are full of shit as well.

We paid more than that when lee Hughes was sold back to West Brom

Coventry crisis over Hughes deal
By Neil Moxley

The prospect of a transfer embargo being placed on Coventry City is looming large after the club's chairman failed to guarantee that the latest tranche of transfer money for Lee Hughes would be paid. Coventry still owe £3million on the £5m fee agreed with West Bromwich Albion for the striker's services 12 months ago.
But Baggies officials are becoming increasingly concerned that the next £1.5m instalment - due in little over a fortnight - will not be paid.
With Coventry's debts running at around £30m, the chances of that cash being handed over appear to be slim and, asked directly whether the money would be forthcoming, chairman Mike McGinnity was unable to make West Brom any promises.
'Our financial situation is being kept in-house,' he said. 'If West Brom have any problems thinking that we won't be able to pay the next sum of money they are due for Lee Hughes, they should get in touch with us and we will discuss the matter privately.'
West Brom officials were alerted to the potential problems after summer sales failed to make any in-roads into Coventry's debilitating liabilities.
When Gary McAllister was appointed manager, McGinnity confirmed that the Sky Blues would have to sell during the close season. However, the club's three main assets - Hughes, goalkeeper Magnus Hedman and former Liverpool midfielder David Thompson - have not been moved on.
That has set alarm bells ringing over at The Hawthorns. Officials there more than raised an eyebrow when it seemed that McAllister's proposed purchase of Motherwell defender Eric Demouleaux floundered last month due to problems over the £50,000 transfer fee.
If Coventry fail to make the payment, West Brom will make a formal complaint to the Premier League and Nationwide League, which will have no option but to impose a ban on City regarding in-coming transfers.
In another kick-in-the-teeth, they will also forgo their right to the £600,000 TV money the club was due to receive from Sky.
That will not even enter the Highfield Road coffers and will be diverted instead to The Hawthorns. Future television income would go the same way until the debt is cleared.
One answer would be to give Hughes away on a free transfer back to his old club - but even that option is fraught with problems.
The 26-year-old currently earns £17,000-a-week - more than three times his salary while at The Hawthorns - and will need a substantial pay-off on the remaining three years of his contract.

West Brom boss Gary Megson, who finally committed himself to the club by signing a three-year contract yesterday, is known to still be keen on the ginger-haired forward. But he may baulk at the £3m 'fee' - the net cost to West Brom if they write off the money owed to them by Coventry.

Have you found it yet? 11 hours should be long enough. Or is this another bit of ignoring a thread where you have been shown to be not truthful?

What are you on about? Surely I don't have to bring up a link that was bought up 2 days ago by stupot where it said not all were that size.

What link? If there was one that said more sizes then you would have done it. It said only about the big sizes. And I remember the pisstake about only tops that nearly everyone would have been drowned by. But no we will have the Grendel facts instead.

Why don't you just enjoy the start of a new season instead of chatting shite all the time?

Top 12 will see us maintain 11,500 average if not increase it. A team in the mix for top six over the season and you could see gates of 20,000 plus.

Hopefully! Have to say, it did help that the game was a cracker but i enjoyed the atmosphere on tuesday night, over 11 000 for a midweek game bodes well for attendances moving forward

So if we get 11k we break even ? Or is there some profit in there?

11K is what we need to be in line with the budget the club submitted for SCMP. Less and the budget could go down, possibly leading to embargo if we're already up to the limit. More interesting if we average more then around Xmas there should be some pressure on Waggott to give TM more if he wants to do some business in the January window.

Would be nice to be in a position to be challenging by then and looking to strengthen the squad, that hasn't happened in a January window for a few years.

But the club need to get their act together ticket wise and for potential increase in walk-ups, yes fans should come a little earlier but queues such as we had Tuesday are unacceptable and will put fans off coming.

Seems like the club are sorting it or at least attempting to. They're looking at upgrading the online system, including making match packages available; have requested the ticket office phone system be upgraded so calls can queue and are looking at issues with pay on the gate. If anyone has any constructive feedback after this weeks game might be worth dropping them a line on [email protected]

If you were unhappy with the Wasps badge plastered all around the perimeter of the pitch I'd recommend you to drop drop an email to the above address.

Well from your picute I can make out 2 Wasps logos, can't really make out the CCFC logos as they are significantly smaller.

And of course your picture either obscures or was taken before the Wasps logos around the perimeter of the pitch.

TM keeps talking about the identity of the club, hence changes at Ryton and to the team coach, and he has been critical of the setup at the Ricoh. It would make sense to cover the Wasps logos, at least surrounding the pitch, with our logo when we are playing. Why would anyone object to that?

FFS Get over it.
He said perimeter and I can see one badge.

You said get your facts right, you posted a picture that didn't show the badges around the outside. What's your point?

I would probably suggest you get some facts rather than wading in without any.

So are you saying there wasn't Wasps badges around the perimeter of the pitch? Which one are you, blind or stupid?

I'm saying they are not plastered all over the perimeter. If you look at that photo you would have to be pretty anal to look for all the wasps posters and make a fuss about it.
FFS enjoy the football your depressing me.

People are enjoying the football.

Your photo doesn't show the Wasps badges people are talking about so doesn't prove anything does it?

If TM is spending money to change the colour of the club bus to make a difference and to brand our club properly, what do you think he thinks about it?

Judging by the blue sky and the number of away fans I'm guessing your photo isn't even from the Crewe match you utter tit, embarrassed yourself again.

It's bizarre, being a cov fan means you have to be bi polar and you're not allowed to multi task and have multi views.

We're either shite and gonna get relegated or we're amazing and going to win the league.

You can only hold SISU or ACL's owners to blame, you can't spread blame.

You can only enjoy the football or ignore the football and totally focus on off field things.

Saw a few people say on Twitter that you shouldn't even notice the wasps badges of you're watching and enjoying the football. Well I got to my seat at 7.15 and it didn't kick off until 8, so was able to notice and get annoyed by the wasps signs then watch and enjoy the most entertaining game of football I've seen in years.

It doesn't have to be one thing vs another.

I find it strange that cov fans wouldn't be pissed off with the signage. Yes, we understand it's their ground to do what they want, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

You are the one telling people to have their facts right because they said about the badges around the outside to be covered up.

Whats the big deal with putting a mat over them or something?
