No leave it embellished !!

So now the club attracts less supporters than many in the Aviva Premiership, having declared itself "the richest club in Europe" is not worthy of further scrutiny?

Last season attendances were considerably higher in all games weren't they?

Why is that do you think?

Att: 11,649 My oh my oh how the might PR has fallen flat on its face, long may this decline continue, franchise sport has no place in the English game not matter what shape the ball is.

I wonder how they are going to keep on paying the bi-annual payments on the bond money ??

It was season one in Coventry. New shiny thing to watch, it has worn out like some city supporters. Having said all that, they put on a show after the game which looked great

I wonder how many times the Coventry Telegraph can get "dip" into an attendance figures story?

Three times the last one.

Maybe they could try "catastrophic fall" this time?

Try to get out more. It's not worth the time chasing every little chink in the Wasps armour.

Our efforts need to be channelled into what Sisu plan for our future.
From what I see they are pissing in the wind and you are taking it slap bang in the face with your mouth open.

We can multitask.

Personally I'm glad to see wasps aren't getting 20-25k+.

.............. and Sisu plans for the future ?

What about them? They have none. What do you want me to do about it? How does making a post or not about wasps poor attendances influence or hinder sisu making plans for the future?

The point I'm making is that some spend all there efforts on Wasps demise and Sisu just get away with murder.
Somehow us fans need to get things out in the open on this new stadium and if it's pie in the sky then look at what we do next.
Can we afford to take on ACL when TF himself says we can't ?
If we can't, do we have to work on the back of Wasps ? In that respect do we need Wasps to survive ?
If we can manage ACL do we then work on a plan to make Wasps out tenants ?

All I'm saying is that in view of no plan do we want Sisu to take on Wasps or do we push for a plan ?

But what has that got to do with a few people on a fans forum posting about wasps poor attendances? Us posting or not posting changes nothing.

Lobbying the club for answers should be the Trust and SCG's responsibility as fan representatives groups.

As a Coventry City fan I'm still more concerned about our considerably more dramatic fall of from the Gillingham game to the Yeovil game last season. Let alone how long they've taken to recover to current levels despite much improved product on the pitch and sitting forth in the league one point of top. Still I'm sure it's nothing SISU did it's just our fickle fans.

What was our crowd on Saturday? Unless I heard the PA wrong (which is possible given it's quality) it was 9000 something and if I heard correctly nearly a third of that was Northampton fans (not including the ones in the home end. I'm sure we all seen the two lads jump the barrier from block 20 and run to the away crowd to celebrate. I was in block 19 and not only did I see them I also saw the gang of their mates filming them on their phones which does beg the question how many more were there?

Celebrating Wasps failure is all well and good but the majority on here who wet their pants over it seem incapable of noticing that we'll probably fail long before they do.

Yet every time there is a Wasps thread you are on it straight away to deflect and defend…………………..whereas on a football related thread……………….

To recover to current levels from what benchmark? More off topic deflection.

A cursory glance shows it was the third biggest Cup gate on Saturday

The issue I am raising is one of journalistic consistency. We have had assurances last week there is no bias and a consistent approach to all sports clubs in the City (even those from London). You must recall that conversation – you were slobbering all over said journalist like a love sick school girl – practically begging him to like one of your posts. Therefore, as much was made of the football clubs attendance decline I fully expect similar articles this week asking the question regarding theirs.

How can talking about CCFC on a CCFC forum be deflection. This whole Wasps sub forum is a deflection, something you seem to welcome.

Never once defended Wasps. I'm still willing to donate £50 to a charity of your choice if you can show me a post where I have. Something you seem unwilling to take me up on. With good reason, you can't because me posting in defense of Wasps is a fantasy you've created as a deflection from the very valid points I keep making when you start creaming yourself over wasps apparent failures when I point out that they typically pale into insignificance when compared to our clubs issue's.

You're not interested in journalistic consistency anymore than you're interested in Wasps failure. It's just a welcome distraction for you from SISU's failings. This sub forum was created for the likes of you. Which is why I constantly take it of topic. It's about time that admin closed it and deleted any Wasps based threads that appeared anywhere on this CCFC forum. Maybe then it can be again taken seriously by CCFC fans as a CCFC forum and who knows some of the many many disappeared posters night come back.

It was made to move crap into, are you really moaning about it not being a ccfc forum? Ha funny that as when we got two decent results on the bounce you didn't bother making a single football post and were only talking about wasps or sisu.

If it was football only what would you talk about?

Many of the posters you no doubt refer to will be back when there's a court case or we have a bad patch.

You surely want someone to put an alternative view to your conspiracy theories.

HR levels would help. People really can't be arsed on every season being a lottery on performance and a fall away after Xmas as Sisu make a decision to reign in the money. Have you not noticed the poor backup in our squad and over reliance on loans AGAIN.

A cursory glance shows it was the third biggest Cup gate on Saturday

At this level it would be. But nobody is knocking it like the Wasps crowd.

You are paranoid on attendances. Nobody is arsed about our attendances, we understand why and only a few are really bothered about Wasps attendances.

This is a waste of a board in that it is dominated by a few people who are intent on Wasps decline and seem to have forgot that Sisu continue to take the piss out of club. No wonder most fans are fed up of it in general as it just becomes a slanging match if people try to move it forward.

Yes delete the Wasps based section and start a Sisu Question and Answer thread.

SISU's plan at present time appears to be run club at break even. Employ a good manager. Give him a top 10 budget and let him and his staff have sole control of it. Use academy players as the foundation of the club moving forward. Appoint new CEO who appears to have both football knowledge and business acumen. Lower ticket prices to some of the lowest in the country.

What is Wasps then Tony and Italia? Re-mortgage the out of town stadium you bought for a sky high value and hope all comes off. Weren't this the very reason people didn't want the stadium to be sold to SISU? For fear of it being re-mortgaged?

*I am not saying SISU improving their management of the club this year forgives them for the previous years. Before everyone goes into meltdown

Why are you and Tony main posters on the wasps board then? Surely if not bothered you wouldn't read it like others, which is why it was created so people didn't have to read it in the ccfc discussion.

Not really a deflection is it, just a way of keeping the forum tidy? Sure if there was a sudden flurry of posts about CRFC, Bees, Blaze, Warwickshire etc they would get their own section.

Exactly! And Tony seems to post a lot in it so if he was that bothered he wouldn't would he?

The budget is controled effectively by us. The more people that go the bigger the 65% of income is avaialble. Don't give Sisu that one unless you are saying they have not been giving us the 65%.

As for Wasps, I just attend and see what a great day out it is.
Similar to when I went to CCFC before Sisu put politics and personal gain in my face.

Wouldn't that come under Coventry City General Chat. Or are wanting a section to ask SISU no CCFC related questions?

No we need to be more specific on our future and make Sisu aware what we want to know and where we stand.
At least make it a sticky if you don't want to upset them.

SkyBlueZack

Ignoring all my other points? The budget is dictated by those that own us. If they choose to pay debt off with the budget for previous years of overspend, can we stop them? The 65% is a maximum, not you must abide by it. The club being self sufficient is great in my opinion, just a shame it's taken so long to get there.

Blaze the franchise?
It's a wonder it isn't already considering the hate of franchises on here. Oh hold on it's nothing to do with franchises really is it ?

The club is self sufficient but seems to have gained £60M of debt since administration 2 years ago.
Don't get me started on that one.

Who exactly wants this - the usual 5 or 6 who either try and derail posts discussing the strategy of a Maltese hedge fund that will ultimately determine our destiny (you and Tony) or those posters now oddly absent when things look better on the pitch (dongonzalos, bigfatron and sky blue John?)

There it's 5 and unlike you I've named them.

Funny though, considering a lot of the people outraged about Northampton and sniffing Wimbledon fans arses don't have an issue with wasps. #fixfootballbutonlywhenidisagree
