How about yellow and blue instead?

Soz. I’ll mock up some realistic cookie cutter template shite when I get home.

I’ve always been quite partial to the colour scheme of the modern Netherlands home kit, and always thought it’d work well as an away kit for us.

I heard somebody else say something along these lines, what’s the deal there? They won’t sponsor us if we don’t play at the Ricoh?

I know, it’s crazy. He’s like _my source has confirmed this_, so either he’s full of shit, his “source” is, or... I got very very close with my mock-up? I’m not putting money on option #3 though.

That’s kind of the point… there are people who are interested, so test the waters and see what people like / don’t like. If it was obviously just a mockup then it’s harder to get people to look past the concept of it being abstract and visualise what it will actually look like, so mocking it up...

Here’s a larger-size image. Details that took a fair bit of work included the halftoned chevrons on the shoulders and reproducing (ha) the MIDREPRO logo, since it doesn’t appear they’ve published it in vector art form anywhere online, so I had to rebuild it from scratch (or close enough to not...

No flies on this one! Indeed, not legit… thought I’d have a bit of fun and see what people thought. Predictably you can’t please everyone, but interesting how many were pretty keen.

I don’t think they’d have different colour arms to body - that’d be kind of weird, I think? But who knows. Maybe it’d look good in practice?

I have to say I really like that Cambridge kit. I would be very happy with something along the same template lines.

Saw that and it’s a travesty - I had the exact same thought when I saw it. The trouble is Nike haven’t really come up with many new template designs for 19/20, as most of their existing templates are still in active use for another year or so. The only other new design they have is based on the...

This is something I find fascinating about the difference between replica kits and ‘player issue’ kits, which a few of the top clubs have started to sell to fans too. I’ve only checked out some of the Adidas ones in the store in Westfield (Juventus, Real Madrid and Man United) but you can really...

That’s weird - the kit I bought at the start of the season looked identical to the press photos. Maybe they switched to embroidered logos midway through the season? Either way it looks a lot worse than the printed one - much less fidelity to the shapes.

We have a printed badge currently, but it’s not as simple as a vinyl heat transfer: there’s some woven elements in it that give it some depth. Oldham’s badge there is also a bit more detailed than simply printed on, as it has debossed parts. They don’t tend to survive as well after a few washes...
