University of Warwick - Ccfc mentioned

In Sisu season, which is practically every day, someone announces a plot every bloody day! I'm not exactly a Stadium believer (why build a new one when you already have one that should belong to the club) but the plan is credible. All the early objections on this forum were that the...

    Max

Is this the first time Grendel's has ever shown any empathy towards Max? Clearly, he's already missing him!

Dead Rubber??? This is the game that will define our season. Either we finish mid-table or just above the drop zone! It's as big as that!!! ;-)

Player of the season as of today

I think we have looked a proper Championship side since Matty James joined. He is a class act and has been crucial to our fight out of the relegation zone during the final run-in. I know James hasn't played a full season, but most the team have missed plenty of games through injury and no-one...

You mean there are teams out there somewhere that don't have to do that! Just my luck to support Coventry.

    Today’s games

Once Brum have two goal lead, I can relax. I don't think Rotherham have more than a goal in them. If they get gifted a second I wouldn't really mind as it would damage Brum's confidence and mean only two points were shared between them.

I apologise for saying Matty James flatters to deceive

Never trust a man who doesn't rate Max. ;-)

    Today’s games

I think you'll find it is Wednesday tonight not Thursday. Though of course it's really Tuesday tonight. It's just that Sheffield Tuesday still doesn't sound quite right either.

    Ricardo Dinanga

I agree that a highlights reel showing no more than four or five goals taken several times from different angles provides little evidence of player's real worth when he's still aged 18. Yet, there may be another way of projecting a Dinanga's progress into the future... Suppose there was...

    Match Thread U23s v Charlton

Yes, probably was doing his Hovhannes Ilangyozyan impression. I wonder who else he has up his sleeve? Messi, Ronaldo, etc. I think we are in for a treat!

    Ratings v Derby

He started against Crawley in 2017-8 in League Two and scored twice. He also started against Mansfield and Luton in League Two and didn't start any games in our first League One season as far as I can see. So two goal in three League Two starts. But not good enough to start in the other 20...

Biamou still has lots to offer

So really, in three years time he will be 21! Yet he already compares well with Shipley who is one of own and is very highly thought of. Not much chance then that we'll be able to keep either of them long-term, I suppose, with other but lesser (Premier League) clubs having larger wallets.

Biamou still has lots to offer

I agree with Evo1883. No-one in their right mind is describing Biamou as a goal machine!! But that's why the leap from part time football to League 2 at the age of 26 is about as big a jump as could be expected for a striker who is not a goal machine, but nevertheless a much smaller jump...
