I do, and as you can gather I’m pretty unimpressed by the way the boxholders are whining and trying to railroad the club into getting what they want as opposed to the club putting it right. It’s possible to be critical of more than one thing at once, it’s not binary.

Well this is patently false. it’s even been said by Kenilworth himself that prices last season were way too low, and boxholders knew it- ie they were wrong. He even said he wrote a letter to the club about it. So if you know that last seasons pricing was wrong, why would you use that to set...

Don’t doubt it, and that’s because the pricing was way off. It was a joke what we were charging.

yes fair point, it may be that the prices are ambitious compared to what’s offered going by what has been said. But still, the prices should have been much much higher than they were and that’s been corrected now, maybe too much but we will see.

I think it’s the hypocrisy really. Any business owner does whatever it takes to maximise income, and there is always pressure to grow the top line- but when someone does it back the toys get well and truly thrown out of the executive box

All well put & fair points, however.. the same rules that apply for those in a financial position to pay for boxes also apply to the person selling them- ie get as much for what you’re selling as possible. I don’t believe for a single second that any business owner wouldn’t have done the same...

I had thought that everyone would be onside with that mindset, but as it turns out a fair few must have quite liked the small club mentality we had for years, because it saved them a few quid.
