Not sure if that is worrying or comforting. Could interpret that as Robins has always been a poor manager at this level and the only difference between now and then is Hamer and Gyokeres who papered over the cracks.

Eccles is average, I'm sorry. Every pass he makes is so predictable and telegraphed to the opposition makes it so easy for them to defend against.

Looking at the fixtures after Luton it really doesn't look good if we don't win on Saturday, can't see him lasting past November right now if we fail to get 6 points from Luton and Derby matches. I mean we could get points from the other games but realistically Middlesbrough, Sunderland...

Pretty disappointing but at least we didn't lose, doesn't really help us much for the season or do anything to convince us we will turn this around.

I think this boils down to lack of experience and leadership again. Can see where a Mcfadzean and Kelly would handle this situation to help motivate the younger players to put in better performances and turn the criticism from the stands into something constructive on the training pitch and...
