Need a LB more than we need another CB or RB imo. Feel more comfortable with Eccles at RB if needed than I do with JDS at LB. Bidwell is solid and I love the bloke but he doesn’t offer much going forward.

And re Kitching, he really wasn’t.

Because having 3 left sided centre halves is unheard of.

I was wrong about Simms so could be wrong about Kitching but I don’t think he is good enough for top half championship. Could potentially loan him to a lower champ side and bring Doyle in. Would be more than happy with that.

Unimaginable how good it looks and how much it feels like home compared to two years ago. Love the place now, hated it before.

Giving Sheaf a new contract in line with the top earners should be a no brainer, given it will only strengthen our negotiating position next year if we don’t go up.

Which King has every right to do. There’s no sentiment in football or business. Godden is an asset at the end of the day and we should be trying get as big a fee as possible for him.
