It's possible we didn't have a choice. Remember the original wording, 15% that can be reduced to 10% at Sporting's discretion, or similar wording.

In spite of what the OP said, most of which I agree with, I don't see this season as make or break for MR. I genuinely think, barring a disasterous run, that this is a 5 year plan which will be judged at the end of that period.

It's all very odd really, I don't think any of us realised what we had when DK took over, or what might be coming. I think we are getting some financial backing from somewhere.

It amazes me how many footballers on the verge of a transfer go down with a minor injury. The negotiations must be tougher that I thought.

It seems from various posters who seem to know what they are talking about, that we could have kept O'Hare if we really wanted to. Him going to another championship club possibly supports that. What is his current transfer value? 2M? The risk of another long term injury Vs future resale value...

It's actually not that bad
