I think it’s a sensible choice. The second goalkeeper in a squad often spends most of the season warming the bench. We need Wilson or Collins to be match sharp in case Dovin picks up an injury.

I agree. I think that way we would get the best out of him and we have enough creative/attacking players not to need him for that but we desperately need him to help protect our back line.

Sadly I agree but I could well change my mind if we can get another couple of good players in before the transfer window closes.

I think, based on this performance, that Burnley are a shoe-in for automatic promotion. I will reserve judgement on Luton until they have played some of the lesser teams, such as us.

I have read somewhere that Liverpool want to keep him and therefore prefer a loan rather than selling him, so (if that is true) the RB Salzburg deal looks unlikely. We are supposedly in for him on loan along with Sheffield United, Leeds and Norwich. I think we would be outbid on wages and loan...

If we can get a proper right back in (a sound defender similar to Bidwell) I wonder if we could play MVE on the right side of the midfield three. He is good defensively and going forward, so I think midfield might suit him.
