    Brian Patton

When I asked Brian yesterday he said he'd be happy to get into three figures. To go from a standing start to this in just a few weeks is pretty good going in my book. Didn't finish last either which was next on the list :-) The main aim was to keep the cause in the media – a great success – and...

Turkey Trot: If you want, I could get Brian to give you a call. He's been chatting I people in the doorsteps and always happy to speak to people. PM me and I can get back to you tomorrow.

I can upload the PDFs but it'll have to be tomorrow

    More united than we realise

Selective memory mate :-) I had spoken with both PKH & Paul Harris about a lot more than beer inc. how they might have done things differently knowing what we know now (cut short by lawyers!), how the charity/ACL could move on and more. For the record we've also had a minuted sub-committee...

    More united than we realise

So out of all that you ignore all of it, including the three questions, only to come back with one of your own? With a tasty dash of implied legal threat? Maybe all of this time spend hating on Sisu has given you Stockholm Syndrome by proxy :D I notice that you didn't take issue with the other...

    Imposter on GMK

If you really want to attract nutters, wums, trolls, stalkers and general weirdos I suggest setting up a campaign group that challenges some of the received wisdom in a long running football dispute :-) I've had a lot of experience with forums, social media etc. and working with online stuff...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Always happy to reply to a polite request :) AFAIK, an approach was made or proposed and knocked back by the council. I'm back on the train again so I'll check up on further details and get back to you tomorrow if that's ok?

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Read the Higgs v Sisu legal docs. There's been enough background on CT site and even here if you go back through Summer 2012 to Autumn 3013 too. Sisu want to break ACL to get a lease, ACL want to break Sisu to get a more preferable owner. Fans suffer. End the blame game, start the solution game.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Conversely, have CCC given any indication that they would deal with Sisu?

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

No interest in buying the club without an asset. A lease would be an asset. They're a hedge fund. Now we don't know if there is something hedged against CCFC or CCFC is a hedge itself. Or something else. Make the assumption that they would reduce their losses rather than take the further...

Those are indeed words. With question marks.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

I've had to get a train so sporadic posting for the rest of the day and I've been ill for the past week hence not being around here much but will try to catch up properly tomorrow. There definitely seems to be some favouring of some kind of leasehold deal. I may be mistaken but I think I...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Sustainable: Negotiate, say, 125 year lease for CCFC etc. Sisu offer club + lease (full exit) for, say, £35m New owners, club debt-free, playing at Ricoh. CCC have valuable asset and an extra £14m in the bank. Possible fan ownership/director options. Any problem?

In that case you're with me. It's happened.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Reliable sources. I was expecting to see something come out this week in the media.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

The problem is they do and they have the golden share. You can be as fearful as you like as to what horrors may befall us when we're back at the Ricoh but I'd rather be in that position than the one we're in now. And if nothing else, they are business people who want to make a profit (or avoid...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

We both know that the club won't come back before negotiating. Both sides are trying to distress each other and both sides need each other.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

I agree with you. I think a lot of the confusion comes with the different ownership terms for any property. In my mind, I own my flat, but technically I have a lease and the building is owned by a freeholder. In the same way, 'owning the Ricoh' can be seen as your interpretation ('the Arena...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

This is from a recent reply in another thread. Feel free to take it as 'the Get Cov Back to the Ricoh position'. Look, we can spend another endless round of chat arguing who did what and apportioning the correct amount of blame and all agreeing that this is a terrible situation and how bad...
