    In our Coventry homes

I believe that the original CCFC version referenced Peterborough and Northampton, not Chelsea and Tottenham.

    Forwards Next Season

How likely is it that Bright will be with us next season? Given his form, I'd have said pretty unlikely unless there is something I have missed?

    Today’s games

Let's give credit where it's due; we have got down to the final 2 games of the season with at least a nominal chance of qualifying for the POs. If you had offered me that at the start of the season, I would have taken it. That being said, it does seem like a bit of a missed opportunity this...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Sunday 28th Apr

On the basis that realistic chances of the POs are gone now, I'd like to see us only select those players who are likely to be with us next season. It's time to give some of the younger faces a run-out, to see what they can do. No harm in it.

    Where does Chaplin fit ?

If you had a choice of binning one of Chaplin or Baka, whilst keeping the other other for next season, which would you pick? Based on the last couple of months I'd go with Baka....

    Where does Chaplin fit ?

Any idea what wages we pay him? For a £500k signing, you'd be surprised if he was happy to sit on the bench. MR might try to offload if indeed he doesn't fit the plan.

His name wasn't Dale Evans by any chance?

    Troubles at Bolton

I think if the Football League are faced with a choice of ratifying a dodgy character or likely seeing a club fold for lack of an investor, they'll always choose the former.

    Troubles at Bolton

I do not know if his takrover has gone through as yet, as it is apparently still awaiting EFL ratification. He is a dodgy character, from memory. Either way, March's wages weren't paid, hence the walkout.

    Troubles at Bolton

Game called off tomorrow as players refusing to play, due to non-payment of wages. Can't remember a situation like that arising before in all my years watching the game. Hope their club gets through this but it doesn't look good. Hope that all those Bees fans who've bought expensive train...

Or not. Last thing I want in my head is an image of a semi naked Tim Fisher and Ann Lucas.

    This Season

Has anyone bothered to work out the total number of points we've lost due to Burge errors, then mitigated this figure by how many points a typical keeper would be expected to cost a side over the course of a season? I wonder how much better we'd be doing when those points are added to our...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bradford City Match Thread - Friday 19th Apr

We're gonna smash Bradford. I'm not going to be there, driving up the A1 to Edinburgh tomorrow - in fact, you know what, if we do win I'll stop for a poo near Sunderland, that'll show 'em (might even pop it in a bag and hoy it at them if we score 5)!!

Bright. As block16 says, Willis is replaceable.

    Strange ?

This is a bit like when you get told at church that Jesus is the son of God but that also Jesus IS God. Messes with your mind.
