    Angry Kevin Nolan

You get a like Wingy just for remembering what a Spirograph was, and for bringing back some distant memories of using one.

    Sunderland fans

It's a fair point G, but as we know the Internet gives us all a voice, and theirs albeit mainly on their forum has been pretty vitriolic, certainly the morons celebrating the death of Jimmy Hill. I have met a few Sunderland fans in my time and most have made mention to the Bristol City game...

    Sunderland fans

This bloke Colin Randall, Colin Randall (@salutsunderland) on Twitter wrote a piece about us going down to League One on his website Salut Sunderland, laughing at how shit we were etc etc. I think he had a few impolite responses. I look forward to dropping the site an email to laugh at their...

    Paying up Saturday?

I believe he bet G as well. So that would be three bets, Astute, Fernando, and G that he hasn't paid out on, and several charities missing out, and he's run away hiding. Poor form really. ** Edit, now G and Hill confirmed it was Fernando, but G involved as Dongo tried to worm his way out of the...

    Stones at the Ricoh

When the person saying it says that both events are good for Coventry and that he prefers another due to the acts at that event, then your sour grapes comment was clearly relating to Wasps. I will leave it there as I don't want our disagreement to derail the thread, and I agree with LAST's...

    Stones at the Ricoh

I see what you did there Otis you cheeky monkey , you know I meant the Big Weekend and The Stones, or was I actually referring to CCFC and their academy, as both great for Coventry!

    Stones at the Ricoh

I agree, I think both events are great for the City. Personally I prefer what's on at the Big Weekend to the Stones, but that's my preference and I won't let arseholes like Italia make out its something to do with Wasps, when I have stated they are both good for Coventry.

    Stones at the Ricoh

You really are a prize arsehole. I much prefer the line up at the Big Weekend. Deal with it. It will also have a higher profile and more publicity for the City than a one off Stone's Concert. If you read my original post I actually said I thought the Stones Concert was a good thing for the City...

    Stones at the Ricoh

Because I prefer it. Surely your brain can comprehend choice and preference.

    Stones at the Ricoh

People may mention that, but for some the Big Weekend is a bigger Coup for the City, with more publicity than the Stones Concert will get (although I do think the Stones playing in Coventry is a good thing)

The top three places you miss most from Coventry city centre

Enjoyed going to the BHS cafe too. My grandparents always stocked up on the sugar cubes they let you help yourselves too with the cups of tea. They were wrapped in paper so they ended up grabbing a handful each stuffing them in their pockets and taking them home.

And me. Do you remember when it first opened in the lower precinct, was one shop width wide, and was a bit on the cramped side. It was much better when they extended it into the shop space next door. Was never so keen on the new place.

    Wasps current finances & hope

It was much better. Whilst it is more respectful, you are getting far more chat from players who aren't the captain, players constantly pointing things out and moaning to the referee during play, eg) Farrell and Biggar are two who come to mind, and players being told to shut it and back off far...

    Wasps current finances & hope

Already big problems with wage rises and expectation, a lot of clubs having stressed their concerns about it in the past season or so, couple that with players making a case about the risks in the game and the potential for career ending injuries, then wages are only going to spiral.

    Wasps current finances & hope

Sorry Italia but the standards I have seen between referee and players in Rugby is dropping. Yes its far better than that in football, but you are comparing it to the couple of years you have watched rugby, and I genuinely feel that in the time I have gone to see games, that the standard in...

    Bradley Wiggins

I genuinely feel sympathy with Wiggins about the condition he suffered with, which is asthma, particularly due to grass pollen. Having never had asthma or hayfever I developed it about ten years ago, and suffer terribly through the pollen season, particularly May-July like Wiggins does. As...

    Wasps current finances & hope

I am not sure that either the Worcester or Northampton game will hit those heights this season, especially the Saints who are having a terrible campaign which will put fans off coming. I don't like seeing my team struggle, but if it brings less money into wasps coffers then there is a silver...

    Bradley Wiggins

He was taking a drug out of competition which was allowed, but its use through TUE during competition is the subject of debate. I do think he has been hung out to dry though, with no recourse to what a bunch of MP's have decided. I mean MP's are squeaky clean aren't they and never twist the...
