We’re just incredibly weak in midfield depth. It has to be accepted, Allen shouldn’t be starting. Torp with high expectations simply hasn’t performed, and Eccles is “ok” with Sheaf in there, but again won’t impose himself on a match. If we’re to be as good as people expect us to be this season...
No good having amazing front line options if you can’t get the ball to them in the first place. Stoke completely controlled the midfield today with Laurent and Burger.
I thought the last we heard from Robins is that he hopes to have everyone training and ready for Stoke? So I’m assuming that if Sheaf trains fully.. he starts.
Agree somewhat, I think if we’re serious about going up this season, and this is the season to push, then we don’t sell Sheaf. Add one more midfielder to the fold to play with him and Rudoni and we are one hell of a force in this league.

Huh? Why would Palmer have upset me? He’s been been deployed either as a 10 or on one of the wings? Not as a 6 or and 8. Like saying has Bidwell upset me, because I’ve not included him as a winger or something.
i think he’s just the sort we need now that we’re playing a flat 3 instead of a 10. Let Sheaf play the pivot and disrupt the play, he’s the best in the league at doing so…
Rudoni and Madsen can play either side of Sheaf to give us balance offensively and defensively. We have Torp for this...
So you’re underwhelmed by a 4m rated PSG academy product that is one of the best CMs in the Swiss super league, but you were excited about an unknown RB from relegation threatened PEC Zwolle from the Eredivise?
