Think we need to get out of the mentality of him coming in to be “backup” we’re not that type of team now, he’s adding depth, I’m sure he will get plenty of game time alongside Simms and Haji.

I’m with you on this one, he showed glimpses of what he can do last season, if he bounces back and plays to his true ability, it could be like a new signing. Let’s not write him off just yet.

Why not? What’s not to like? He’s a totally different option to what we have, pace to burn and trickery. Proven goal scorer at this level. To have Simms, Wright and Thomas-Asante as forward options is a very healthy position to be in. You could even argue that it would give us the best forwards...

Given the fact we were after Stemanic, I would imagine a top quality CM is probably the No1 priority.
