    A sniff of success ...

It's going to take more than that - they need to follow my advice in my opening post to even have a chance of turning things round

    A sniff of success ...

Some advice to SISU from someone who has supported CCFC since 1952. You have seen at first hand that given a sniff of success, the support is there. You first saw it when we returned to the Ricoh from Northampton v Gillingham and again at Wembley last Sunday. You must be extremely short...

    George Curtis

What has happened to George Curtis ? Surprised he wasn't there on Sunday. We never seem to hear about him in recent years.

    43,000 reasons to invest!

Anyone? Surely someone? 43,000 ? The Ricoh ain't big enough. You can't compare gates to when we were in the Premiership, times have changed. More money, star players - just kidding about the Ricoh not being big enough by the way. Look at Lesturd - 32,000 week in week out since they got...

    Fisher's thinking

My intuition tells me we will stay long term at the Ricoh. Forget the bull shit, the smokescreen, the willingness to mediate because in my opinion it's a ploy to remain at the Ricoh. It's the most sensible and affordable solution. Wasps will cave in because they need CCFC more than CCFC needs...

Butts Park Arena - put up or shut up !

Absolutely ! In my opinion this will never happen. Any plans to accept a stadium holding only 12,000 without being able to increase to 25,000 would show a serious lack of ambition by SISU. Anyway, I do not believe this will ever happen and my opinion it's just another ploy to delay and further...

EFL Trophy final- our potential as a club

Look at Brighton as a comparison- similar gates to us, moved away from the old Goldstone ground to play whilst their new stadium was built and now get gates hovering around 30,000.

    Statement from Cov Rugby

And if Duggins refuses they can blame the Council?

    Statement from Cov Rugby

In my opinion this is a ploy in SISU's game. When mediation fails, they can use this to their advantage, surely?

Were you one of the 51,455

I reckon the cup tie v Sunderland gate was even higher due to gates being crashed open - probably over 60,000

    Yes, I was there!

    Smokescreen

I have to admit I was nearly convinced by Tim Fisher - until I looked back! A bit like Pavlov's Dogs, I am so used now to statements made in the past not coming to fruition that I am reluctant to believe a word he now says. He always comes across as being sincere, appearing to be a past master...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Am I right to assume all this will go tits up if SISU don't withdraw all legal claims ?

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

How do Coventry Bears and Coventry United fit in with this plan? There's no way four teams can use BPA

Last time we we're in Division Four, now Three:

It's good to know that a few of us on here go back as far as the 1950's. It's good to look back and rekindle memories- we should start a Veterans club for the over 70's !

And of course Gordon Nutt - another winger we sold to Arsenal, I think.

Yes, we sold him to Man City and I went to White Hart Lane to see his debut v Spurs

    Mediation talks underway

Totally agree - seems to be a ploy SISU would use judging on past experiences! I wouldn't trust them an inch.
