Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

Was it ever mentioned what we think his actual/real job* is? * i.e. not multi-million pound-winning pro poker player !

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

Yes, but on the basis that nobody is seriously out pocket and on the basis that he winds his neck in, I don't see why anyone would see the need to take him to court for the sake of it. I may be wrong and if so we may find out at some point (although how any of us would know if he does get taken...

That's old news! You can read the reaction to that a few pages back on this thread!

I doubt that club is even worth that, on paper.

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

I doubt that the police/CPS would prosecute him without a complaint from an injured party i.e. CCFC, SISU, or Clapham and Collinge. And I doubt that, now they've put the frighteners on him with the suggestion of legal action, that they'll have shut him up for a while. My guess is that both SISU...

Well at any rate, unless we hear of action being taken against him, it looks like that's the end of this sorry episode. Kept us entertained, I suppose. When we're back in the PL in a few years we'll look back at this and chuckle. Hell, we're chuckling now!

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

I can't see that he did, really. At least, not to the point where anyone involved would think it was worth their while in pursuing a damages claim against him. The one action that might happen is that SISU and/or Clapham & Collinge apply for "injunctive relief" i.e. take out a civil injunction...

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

Just because he didn't stand to make financial gain doesn't mean he wasn't trying to con people...he clearly was. Hence I think G's "conman" description is fair.

Whoa, that's deep!! Please explain that again? How were you able to see his reward points?

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

This. ^^^ There is no evidence he has any mental health issues; that's just a suggestion on here which has snowballed and taken on a life of its own. Let's face it, there are people out there who are serial bullshitters who crave attention and will do anything to get it. That's not a medical...

Don't agree with that. On that logic, literally anyone could invent the same story and get on their programme. The reason news outlets employ researchers is to avoid this kind of scenario. If you think they didn't big it up then you obviously missed CWR trailing the DE interview saying "CCFC...

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

They bigged up the story and span it as if he was a credible candidate to invest in / take over the club. Which is clearly untrue. They hung their credibility on it by doing so, hardly neutral. They decided he was serious or they wouldn't have put him on the radio, simple as. P.S. how do you...

Sorry to raise this again / Dale Evans

They wouldn't breach impartiality by checking him out to see if he's genuine. Otherwise, any of us, including me or you, could equally expect to make up a tall story about buying CCFC and expect a full segment prime time interview. News organisations like the BBC usually do their homework on...
