I hope he gets help rather than legal action thrown his way

Seems clear I feel that he needs help, but his family should have stepped in and protected him in the first place!

Why? He’s a liar and a conman.

This. ^^^

There is no evidence he has any mental health issues; that's just a suggestion on here which has snowballed and taken on a life of its own.

Let's face it, there are people out there who are serial bullshitters who crave attention and will do anything to get it. That's not a medical problem requiring help and support; he just needs to man up and stop being such a prick.

I'm torn here between feeling a bit sorry for the bloke, and being pleased that he's been outed as an obvious liar.

He may well have mental health issues, but to me there's a world of difference between living in a fantasy (which I can accept may be a genuine psychological issue), and actively creating false documentation etc. to try to support it.

The latter seems to me to be a deliberate and calculated act designed for some kind of personal gain.

In this case I'm not sure he's done much damage to most of us or the club. Probably some slight embarrassment to those taken in, and some minor reputational damage to Hoffman and the CET.

However, imho, Evans is on a path that is going to cause some serious pain to himself and others if he doesn't stop the lies and fabrication.

Hopefully a certain amount of public derision and the very real threat of a court appearance will wake him up to his stupidity. I'm not sure that sympathy is really what he needs.

What I don’t understand is “if” he has issues, why has his wife and his mates gone to view a house he’s clearly not going to buy? Why haven’t they turned round and told him to stop? With the house and the football club buying nonsense.

Yep. It makes no sense. Seemingly, from what we hear, his family and friends have appeared to play along with everything. If he does have a mental condition that is hardly going to help is it, feeding his fantasies.

This I do find particularly harsh. Very much an assumption. To me it does indeed point to the fact that there might well be some psychological issues and I don't think we should just condemn him as a lying prick or suchlike.

He does seem to fit to some of the profiling of pathological lying traits. Screenshot_2018-01-09-05-11-25.png

He has probably told his friends and family that he won £9 million at poker when it is a fabrication.

Well yeah, probably guessing immediate family might not be quite so scrutinising if 'evidence' is produced.

Could possibly be the reason he created all the false documentation, knowing that he comes out with tall stories and no-one ever quite believes him.

He may have always come out with stuff and his family thinking it's just Dale being Dale. However, things might have intensified because this time he created evidence so that people WOULD believe him.

I reckon if I bought a lottery ticket for tomorrow and selected all last Saturday's numbers on my ticket, I could 'prove' to my family that I had won the lottery. Think all they would see were that the 6 numbers in my ticket matched the 6 numbers that were in the draw.

The other thing that convinces me that he has problems is on the car crash incident. Who in their right mind would say their wife and daughter were very badly injured in a car accident and were in hospital, when in fact it simply wasn't true?

Think you would have to be pretty sick. Either he's scum or in need of help. Points more to me that it's the latter.

He was seemingly also trying to buy a multi million pound property.

I think he has fantasies and then believes these fantasies are actually real.

Grendel did sum me up perfectly though. He said I was a person who always tried to see the good in someone.

So very true.

Well that's not going to get you far, is it. Every stranger is just an enemy I haven't made yet, that's my motto. :)

The guy is a liar and he has deceived people and used other people in his duplicity. There will be a reason for his deception. I can make a pretty good guess

As for a sign of mental illness saying his family are ill not really. I’ve come across similar nonsense from conmen before.

It’s similar to the lottery fraudster who rightly in the end went to prison.

FFS Dale Evans has serious issues. He approached someone I know asking if he could help with a bit of protection at the Ricoh, he asked Dale to prove that he is serious before getting involved. A bank statement was texted over showing a balance of £10 Million, all I can say is do not give up the day job what ever that is Dale. We worked out that going by the reward points he had accumulated about £200 had gone through the account.

I feel a bit sorry for the bloke, he is evidently not all there and CCFC fans are baying for his blood as he lied to them and got their hopes up.
Oh really, the club have bullshited since SISU took over and fans just lap it up and we all still turn up each week handing over our hard earned. The main difference between Dale and CCFC/SISU is the latter use PR spin and the former has not took the club down to League 2 facing potential oblivion.

Like a bunch of school bus bullies going for the odd kid who sits behind the driver.

Don't care. Once I've bought the club with my cribbage winnings, everyone will want to be my friend...

I’ll forward on your details to Gary Hoffman and get you an interview with the Cov Telegraph. How much will our warchest be in Jan? Will you be signing Robert Earnshaw?

Cheers. I'm thinking £40m, minimum, more if I scoop the pot at the Lime Tree WMC tonight.

Carl Baker as player-manager, Eric Black as director of football, and I'm bringing Robbie Keane home. Tell all your mates, evidence of funds to follow as soon as I get Photoshop... err... email working. :)

Please explain that again? How were you able to see his reward points?

Mind, I've always thought that of you.

Wasn't there a poster on here who knew him at school who said he was always spinning tall tales.

Who here is lapping up SISU's bullshit? Specifically, who?

I don't see anyone here baying for blood, though there's certainly a fair bit of ripping the piss.

Believing you're a millionaire when you're not, that's a sure sign of mental illness. Faking documents to try to convince other people though, that looks more like a deliberate deceit to me.

I'm not advocating locking the bloke up, but I'm all for challenging his behaviour. Getting a bit of stick online might help him to see his issues and sort himself out...
