Mason moves on goal. Thomas unmarked...

He was right to shoot. He was in front of goal with a clear sight, A pass to Thomas, even if well executed, would likely have ended up with Thomas close to the goal line, not in a shooting position.

Junior Brown was on the bench. Was that reconciliation, desperation or an outbreak of common sense?

Can't see the advantage of combining two loss making businesses. Any savings would be relatively small compared with the operating costs. Only advantage I could see would be the possibility of renewed stadium sponsorship

    Groundshare back on

I said it on another thread but I'll say it again So what if we are voted out and SISU retain ownership of the club in a lower league. They are still the real CCFC and any other start up would be a protest club, like AFC MU, not a phoenix club like Hereford

    Groundshare back on

Wasps could easily say that whilst legal action is ongoing they will only agree season by season rental agreements. They don't have to screw the club over completely.

    Wasps action

Surely they don't honestly believe that if CCFC goes under then SISU will just magically disappear back to London? Strangely I think that they and the SBT do think that. What do SISU lose by selling Ryton, closing the Academy and retaining ownership of CCFC?

    Who do you blame?

This is my take on it. Happy to have any misconceptions corrected factually, The previous board, whether by inadequacy or whatever fault or reason, put the club in a position where new ownership was necessary Ray Ranson was looking for a club and engaged the financial support of SISU by selling...

    Southam Supporters Club meeting

I was there last night and endorse what was said above. All players spoke well but David Mehler stood out as a leader and story teller A big well done to those who organised and contributed

    Wasps action

Not sure what the cost price of a shirt is but that's probably no more than £5 a game. But it's more attractive than reducing the gate price by ,£5

    If The Unthinkable Happens ?

But as I said in a post above, dropping down the leagues does not necessarily get rid of SISU. They could retain ownership in a lower league. After all, they don't much care about the club as long as it doesn't cost money
