    Robins' blindspot!

It's very easy to target full backs and g'keepers for criticism because their mistakes are somehow more apparent. The problem is Robins expects his FBacks to get forward, but they then have to get back to defend and neither are strong enough to do that for 90mins. That's why I have some...

I know it's possible but the most probable outcome if Wycombe screw up is that Exeter take third place

    New Training Ground Update

I'm not confident of anything which is why I said "If" If the owners choose to wind up the club and cash in their charge on Ryton that's another story and again another "If" but there's no point in speculating. The fact that the club are saying that they are going to use the proceeds of a sale...

    New Training Ground Update

If the club get a better facility out of it I can't be fussed if the difference goes to the owners. If the owners take all the money and the club ends up sharing a rented facility that's another story. Incidentally, I read in one ot the reports about Accrington Stanley that they don't have a...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Stevenage Match Thread - Friday 20th Apr

Well it's certainly better than playing him at left back when you're chasing the game. But seriously, I wasn't skillful but i could play equally well (or badly) on right or left wings

    Tonight’s games

We are more likely to be playing Wycombe than Exeter if we finish in play offs

The basic problem is that the commentators report what is happening on the ball so the listener doesn't appreciate when other players are getting in to good (or bad) positions off the ball. Mind you, a lot of people at the game don't notice either

    Grimmer in the house.

When full backs get forward someone has to cover their rear, or they have to get back very quickly. There have been times when neither has happened, but I'm not sure that Grimmer can always be blamed

    SISU - an improvement?

But people don't move on. they just keep coming on here moaning. I chose JulianD's approach; don't like it but put up with it and support the club. If I move on and walk away, I will do just that and not keep coming back on here point scoring when anything else goes wrong

    SISU - an improvement?

Well I'm somebody's grandad and I did go to Sixfields for that very reason. I knew that if i stopped going I might not return. I don't know how many more seasons I'll be fit enough to go so I will not sit around waiting for SISU to go however much I despise what they have done. Bottom line...

    Deluded

The score isn't always a reflection of the game as I am sure you appreciate. We have won games when our general play didn't deserve it. 0-0 would have been a fair result yesterday

    Just needs some perspective

I can understand why he wouldn't bring a defender on but I would have preferred Shipley. He played left back as a sub in a Checkatrade game early season and seemed to know what he was doing. That way he wouldn't have to put Reid at FB

The game was a total nonsense and it's a waste of effort trying to draw much in the way of conclusions
