Up to a point that's correct but if a club gets a reputation for not treating its loanees fairly it might be difficult to get good loanees when it really needs them.
You can't blame the club for holding off as long as they could considering all of the effort that had gone into bringing around 60 former players to the city for legends day.
I remember a game in the Checkatrade lasr season when we played an "U21" team. Some of our players were younger than theirs but still outperformed them. Some young players find it hard to step up to League football even at our level and take time to adjust. The problem with loanees is that time...
It will leave a worthless football club with no assets.
As I have often said to people who say they want SISU to "just piss off".... be careful what you wish for.
And don't ask because I don't know what the answer is.
I have knee problems, not severe but aching, so if I am walking a lot or going to football I put elastic tubular strapping on.
They are excellent for keeping your knees warm when sitting at football
I think he has made a contribution in most of his games and more importantly has improved. I don't subscribe to the view that because he hasn't scored goals he has nothing to offer.
If you don't rate a player, by all means criticise him, but also acknowledge what he does well.
Your comment was...
So, on the basis of your thinking, theres no point in having an Academy and presumably you have no problem with the sales of Wilson, Madison ,Stevenson etc because they are youth team players who shouldn't be in the first team
I wasn't there today so can not comment on how well we played but I'll make a general point.
Against a team that far above us you expect to be outclassed but you don't expect to be outfought. It didn't sound to me that there was enough fight until late on, but I'm happy to be corrected by anyone...
