    Frank Lampard Rumours

I think you'll be surprised how deep this will go. I don't think Doug's relationship with the fans will ever recover from this.

    Frank Lampard Rumours

No. If it is him it will have parallels with Blues sacking Eustace and bringing in Rooney. It's his name Doug is interested in, his profile. I'm sure this has been done for 'reach' and/or investment. Would be a poor choice for me.

Doug King - calling it as it should be.

You can't see the difference between then and his seven year tenure that ended yesterday? Seriously?

Right who's the next manager then?

We've tried the high profile ex-player a few times; Really, Butcher, Strachan, it ultimately ends in tears. I don't want to end up like Watford who change their manager multiple times a season. Lampard would be a poor choice in ny opinion as would Carsley. And Robbie Keane. Fuck me. Clueless...

Right who's the next manager then?

I don't think there would be a measure to my abject disappointment if it was.

No, no, no, no, no, no. And no again.

For those going to Sunderland tomorrow

I'm not in the 'hope we lose to make a point' camp. I wouldn't be making the 8 hour round trip if I was. I want the players to give their all tomorrow and grab a win, or failing that, play like we know they can and make a real fist of it. They owe us, but most of all they owe Mark. Some of...

Sheaf shows no leadership on the pitch, so can't expect him to show leadership off it.

Rhys Carr - Interim Head Coach

Funny how the "old school" method has worked wonders and the new stat driven iPad era has failed to deliver.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

I quite like BT. I think when he plays it simple rather than trying to spray balls here and there he's a good, no nonsense defender. Have never warmed to Kitchin and thought we vastly overpaid for him. Wouldn't be sad to see him go.

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

To be honest, I'm baffled that you're baffled by the feelings of fans - you call it hysteria, it's not. It is pretty obvious why fans are so upset by not just the act of sacking him, but the timing. King has scored a major own goal here and I don't think he'll ever recover the rapport he had...

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Yep, that's what I'm thinking. Wins over Luton and Middlesborough delayed in the inevitable. He would have gone after either of those if we had lost.

    Cheer up everyone

On 20 minutes Collins goes down feigning an injury, so they can all go over and check the stats and data on the iPads. We're down to nine men in the second half as Doug negotiated sales during half time.
